With the new shuttle fee changes it looks like we may be renting cars instead of using shuttles. We have 18 people going. One family of four was already planning on driving because they live closer. We will likely rent three cars for the other 14 of us to drive down from PA. So my question is - does it cost to park at WBC? I know about the parking at the parks so I understand that cost but I haven't been able to really get a handle on parking at WBC. I've seen discussions about valet parking and then parking in some types of ramp. Is there any parking that is free that is relatively close to the towers?

There is no parking fee at WBC, and there is abundant parking. The only place I saw any lack of parking was Tower 4, but when we stayed there we never had any problem at all finding parking in the parking garage between 4-5.

Driving your own cars is going to be MUCH more convenient than anyone's shuttles. And not only for visiting the parks -- it will also unlock a whole new world of dining opportunities which will give you much more variety, better food, and lower prices than you'll find onsite at WDW.

Agreed. Even when the shuttle was free, I always rented a car and drove myself most everywhere.

We got an email from the business we rented thru, it said there was a fee for parking and a fee for the shuttle.

There's a fee to park at the Wyndham Hotel next door. But not the timeshares.

To add to what Jim MIA said, if you have a car, you don't even have to eat out every day. You can grocery shop and cook in your room a few times. Your condos come with a full kitchen.

If the email said that, it was incorrect. There is no fee for parking at the WBC timeshare towers.

There is a new fee of $5 per person, per round-trip for the shuttle. We'll just have to wait and see if that foolish decision (by the homeowners association, not by Wyndham) survives the coming controversy.

I hope that's right and my email was wrong.
