Hello Everyone,
My name is Marika. I am 13 years old. I am from the USA, however, I currently live in Germany. I have been on 11 cruises in the past (7 Disney

, 1 Carnival

, and 3 Princess

). For those of you who have not cruised before you're in for a real treat. The Trans Atlantic in particular is wonderful. I went on the first Trans Atlantic and it was the best cruise I have ever taken(8 straight days at sea and some fabulous ports) and I cannot wait to take another. Has anyone else gone on the Trans Atlantic before?
It's really too bad we all have so much homework

. I know the feeling. Try doing it all in German. Or else even worse learning Spanish in German while still attempting to learn German. I also know how hard it can be doing work above your grade level. I started school a year early and then last year I was doing all grade 9 level work including a 9th grade honors English class (my best subject along with math). So I was doing grade 9 work when if I had been put with my age group I would be in grade 6 (elementry school compared to high school). It's nice to have the challenge, however, some times it feels like major overload. Right

? However, I never did have a problem with algebra except how boring it is. I first taught myself algebra when I had just turned 8 years old and we were moving from Michigan to New Hampshire. After that I learned it 4 more times with various schools. It was fun at first, however, got a bit boring after a while.
My hobbys are Karate, Girlscouts, and theater. I have taken karate for 5 years and last year I earned my black belt just before we moved to Germany. I was a Cadet in Girlscouts, however, unfortunately they do not do Girlscouts or anything of the sort in Germany. I have performed in 3 large scale comunity theater productions and numerous slightly smaller scale church productions. However, I perfer working behind the scenes. I particularly enjoy running follow spot (the spot light), building sets, and sewing costumes, however, I am generally happy just about anywhere (except for part of the orchestra) in a theater whether I am part on stage, back stage, or in the audience.
I also want to learn Japanese Jocelyn, however, at the present I have to much on my hands already learning Spanish and German.
I'm curious which if any Disney parks have you been to? My family has been to Disney World about 30 times, Disney Land Calafornia 2 times, and Disney Paris once. We are all pretty much addicted to Disney.
In attempt to get people posting again I thought I might add a question of the week. A lot of the adult threads have them and I have found them quite fun on previous kid's threads. So the question of the week is:
Which Disney character are you most like and why?
I am probably most like Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Because I love to read, am equally stuborn, I love to see the world and travel to new places, and I am not afraid to be myself.
Marika
PS
In case your wondering no my parents are not in the military (though a lot of people think they are because we move so much) my father is a engineering consultant and my mother is an English teacher
