You open the internet to look up a word in the dictionary. You go to your address bar to type in "dictionary" dot com and instead type in "disney"... :mickeyjum

Yes I admit, I just did that! :rolleyes1

party: Less than 2 days before we are at WDW.... wheeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!! pixiedust: pixiedust:

I think I am getting carpal tunnel flare ups! having to wear my brace on my wrist! :badpc:

You know when you spend the whole evening reading posts about Disney and what other people who love Disney are doing in their lives. :tinker:

You read the Disboards daily and mentally plan a trip that, well, doesn't exist yet. :rolleyes1

Wait - is that obsessed, or pathetic ? (or both?)

you know when you are when u get off work at 2am after a 12hr shift and get right on DIS ... lol but i love it :cool1:

Look around our home, looks more like Disney World than Disney itself. After 38 some visits, Disneyshopping.com, we bring more Disney into our lives just about every day and we're not kids. We're 50ish, just came back a couple weeks ago and are planning our next trip. We have figured out after all these years and Disney vacations, we have to do Disney every six months to stay happy and sane. We have our happy places in WDW and relieve each vacation over and over, can't find a better place to go or one we enjoy as much as there. We don't even have to go to a park to enjoy Disney, we enjoy the resort and all the grounds amenities too. Addicted, yes, good additction, yes. We go with our daughter and son in law, who are addicted or infected as well and so many good memories are made each trip to share down our road of getting older but never too old for a Disney vacation. Just say Disney and everyone says, when and for how long, count us in ! Love that feeling !

DH and I have a room soley dedicated to Disney!!!

Instead of counting sheep to go to sleep, you count Mickey heads!! (I actually did that the other night!!!!!)

Your addicted when... For weeks...afterward you say 'last week at this time I was on Expedition Everest'...'Last month at this time I was at Disney studios"... Then after about six months it changes to in "two months at this time I'll be in the Haunted Mansion"...etc.

...when you're ready to move to FL. I'm 34, my husband, 38 is in law enforcement & can retire in 5-6 yrs. & we're throwing around the idea of moving near Disney. We live in SC now. I make more $ & i'll be giving that up. But-we're serious! Are we crazy? :confused3 :rotfl2:

More than fifty percent of your clothing is Disney in some way or another

You dream about WDW

You are already thinking about your trip report your going to write for your Thanksgiving Trip.

You know you are obsessed when you eat, sleep, talk and breath Disney. Every room in our home has something Disney. Outside you will find Mickey. In my car I have 6 CDs ready to listen to in my truck at all times. My watch is tinkerbell, my clothing is Mickey, our checks are cinderella, our mugs are Disney, our dog is named Jasmine. Disney touches every aspect of our life and it makes me very happy. We are going in Jan with our whole extended family and I gave each of them thier itinerary (dining ressies, hotel info, park info etc) inside a tinkerbell folder. They think I am looney but I don't care it makes me very happy to be obsessed with the MOUSE! :cheer2: :cheer2:

When you are saying that you will take a year off after returning from your third trip in three years and join the DVC within 4 months of saying it. :rotfl2:

When you can't even walk through a grocery store without noticing every item there that is LIME GREEN ---oh wait--that just means you've been DISed not just dizzy about Dizzenneeyy...

You know your addicted when....You walk in to your garage and realized embedded in the metal of the garage door is a hidden Mickey!! :rotfl:
I looked at my garage door and there is a piece of metal that is attached to the door....It has holes in it and if you look at the holes closely it looks like Mickey ears and head! Boy, do I need a Disney vacation and fast! :rotfl2:

This is an awesome post!! The DH and I feel exactly the same way---every trip holds a special memory, five years down the road and we're still talking about the first trip! WDW is the only place on earth that I truly believe you can check in and the rest of the world can't get to you! Love the place!!! We too have our "happy places!"

If not in Disney you are on the DIS bds.

May '06 was my 4th trip and Dh's first trip. We were in Disney for a week and on our last full day at Disney we joined DVC. Now I spend my time here and we're planning our 2nd (Dec. '06) and 3rd trips (May '07), and are looking forward to more and more trips.

I knew that I was when I was home 30 minutes from Disney and started looking into planning our next trip! But isn't it a lovely feeling to be obsessed with the most magical place on earth!?!?!?

It truely is the happiest place on earth. I just love going there and adding to my kids memories. Someone said that your kids may not remember the trip exzctly but they will have a very large and lasting happy image that will add to the joy of their childhood.
