My wife and I are from the north, we recently got back from our first cruise. it was to Alaska. It was wonderful and we loved our room but there didn't seem to be anything I could do to prevent waking up in a pool of sweat. We asked to have something done and they changed the air filter, but that didn't help then we had a fan brought in, and it helped a little, but our room was still way too hot.
On Glacier day I went out in a tee shirt and shorts and was finally cooled down.
It's the only reason I wish I had a balcony, because we did not miss it otherwise. Has anyone else experienced this. am I doomed for my future cruises to be too hot?
