While playing around one day, I came across a website where you could plug in a time range and possibly select a general area (like EPCOT), and it populated what reservations were available.
I didn't pay close attention, but thought it was a Disney Dining website. Now I can find anything like it.
Any ideas?
The Disney Dining site (
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining/)does allow for general areas (or all of Disney). There are also general meal times, but I believe those relate to a specific time inside the system and not a "whenever that meal is offered" (as that could be tricky due to different restaurants having different schedules).
Now, the timeframe it searches on is about 2 hours on either side of your selection, so it's a sizable window. So, for example, if you entered 1PM as your search time, it would search 11am to 3pm, giving priority to those closest to 1pm. (So, in this case if there were 5 ADRs available, 11:15am, 12:45pm, 1pm, 1:45pm, and 2:30pm, it would display the middle 3)
As far as some third party thing, I simply don't know. But I'd doubt they'd open up that part of their system to a 3rd party, as it's likely a pretty resource hungry part of the site.
Now, they USED to have date ranges you could search for, but they removed that when they updated to the current version (and that date range was when you had to search per restaurant, instead of the current overall searches)
