The WDW area is kind of strange.
When Exxon had the on-property stations they were the highest prices around. Now that Hess is the supplier they are almost least expensive.
This past Saturday I was at WDW. Because of some errands, I came one way but went home differently. I always keep a look out for the gas prices.
First place I passed and lowest was the RaceTrac on 192 East of Main Gate (just West of the 417 overpass) at $2.03. Next was the Mobil in Water Tower Place in Celebration, just across 192 from the RaceTrac at $2.04. I passed one of the Hess stations on property and it was $2.05.
On the way home I went out near Downtown Disney onto 535. When I headed South (toward I-4) the Cheveron station was at $2.45. Continuing South on 535 I passed another nearby Cheveron at $2.39. About a mile later (still on 535) there was a Citgo (at a 7-11) and a Hess, both at $2.05 and just before the Osceola Parkway (at Poinciana Blvd) was a Cheveron at $2.04.
The $0.41 per gallon difference was the same brand on the same side of the same road less than three miles apart! You figure.
