Way to Check Availability other than MS?

I know when we want to go, but am open for where we stay. So, I have been trying to call MS to confirm which of the props have availability for our dates but have not been able to get through. So, is there a way to confirm if the resort(s) I want to stay at are available without calling MS? If so, how? If I can confirm then I have no problem sending in an email booking request via the member site.

There is no way to check availability except through MS. Why not just send an email, with first choice, second choice, third choice, etc. and ask them to book (assuming you don't want to move) the first one on the list that has availability for your entire stay?

The phones lines are just a complete mess right now. I don't remember it ever being this bad.

Thanks Chuck, I actually did not realize I could do my 'choices' via the email. I need to borrow points to book - do you know if they can do that via email? Thanks.

I don't know if they will borrow or not. It wouldn't hurt to mention that you know borrowing would be required, and that you know borrowing is a final transaction, then authorize them to borrow as necessary.

Whenever I bank or borrow via phone they do seem intent on going over the rules each and every time

Thanks again. I actually just went to the site. You can select up to 2 choices and there is an 'additional comments' section where I put my 3rd and 4th choice (we aren't picky LOL). You can also tick a box to authorize borrowing and it does tell you twice that this is a permanent tsf. So, fingers crossed for my choices! The flight is booked so I am hoping we actually have somewhere other than MK parking lot to lay our heads LOL.

I have used the web site to book our last three trips. I have got first choice twice and second choice once, even though I note "or any available resort" in comments section. These were all at about 6 months out. There was no problem borrowing points for the transaction.

I am not patient waiting for MS on the phone and I really don't care that much about resort choice. I can "suffer" through a stay at any one of them!
