Way Early I know but anyone going on Eastern May 1-8 2004?

Hi guys.
I´m still here too. It´s just not easy to get to the computer, knee still hurts and I´m hopful it will be better soon.
When I look at my pictures Im still dreaming of going again, but it is so expencive from Germany. So I guess I´ll have to wait a few more years.
Take care,everybody
Conny
PS:Silke says HI!

Hello everyone!

We're still around too, just not as visible anymore.

Conny--

I hope your knee heals fast. It's too bad that it was injured on the cruise. But, I'm glad to hear you talking about a future cruise with Disney. Even if it is a few years off I'm glad to hear it! :) Tell Silke that we both say hi. We're anxiously awaiting the release of the extended version of ROTK as I'm sure she is as well!!! I’m SOOO excited to hear that your friends will be sailing with us in August! We will most definitely have to meet them at some point. Are they on the Dis Boards at all? If so, make sure that they stop by the Disney Magic August 28th Cruise thread to say hi.

Bow Tie Joe--

We were at Disney on Saturday and looked for your crokies. I think we found them! We took a pic that I'll post soon just to make sure they're the right ones.

Glad to see that everyone is doing well and adjusting to normality again! It's not an easy task but someone has to do it! :)

We are here as well....life just turned busy and hectic since coming home and I haven't had near the same amount of time on the computer as I did before (I can't imagine how that happened) but McKaylee got sick AGAIN so I've had her home for 3 days and just being busy keeping up with family birthday's, Ryan's work schedule *he actually has had to work lately*, boy scout stuff with Miles and a million other things I haven't been around much! I have cut out the Gin during the week as well so I don't have the buzz anymore like I had before we left as it is WAAAYYY to fattening! I've gained more weight in the last 3 months than I've ever had on my body before except for being pregnant! Hitting the treadmill, the total gym, yoga and no booze until the weekends (damn near killed us last night) so it isn't as rowdy around here anymore!

I'm sure we'll be here most of the weekend since it's supposed to S~N~O~W here on Saturday. What the hell kind of a long weekend is that if it snows???? It's a balmy 45 degrees here today and supposed to stay in the mid 50's until maybe next Tue or Wed. We are going to take the kids to see Shrek II this weekend and Ryans' dad has his birthday that we have to go to. Other than that I think we are going to just rent movies and hang!

Sorry to not have posted much lately...it just seems things have gone from extreme high of planning to extreme low of real life!!!

Conny--hope the knee feels better soon! My knees hurt from the treadmill so I can't imagine how you must feel!

Well I'm off to enjoy my last day of FREEDOM before the kids are home for the summer!!

I didn't know that it snowed anywhere in May?!

We are usually in the high 80's by Memorial Day weekend but this year instead we will be pulling out the winter coats again and we were going to go camping but I think NOT as I HATE to camp in the cold!

Suddenly the Caribbean is sounding more and more like home!

Just realized,that I posted twice,serious computer hickup.
Silke managed to get the normal RotK one day early and I watched it immidiatly. That tells you how bored I am.Just found out another two weeks before I´m able to go back to work.
and Heidi-if you don´t need the Gin send it over, nobody is supplying me.
Jason-I mailed Birgit your site and the link to the thread, but I don´t know if they´re up to join in.I highly recommended it.
If anybody still has the recipe for the Konk Kooler,I would appreciate it(lost it-stupid me)
Thanks and take care
Conny:smooth:

Yikes snow in May.. and late May at that. It's been nice here in Maryland, except for a few thunder storms that rolled through last night. Rained out our softball game, but left more time for the bar. :drinking1 See if you stay active, you can drink what you want and not worry about it.

Conny take care of that knee!!!

Travis -- Have you ever seen snow. ;)

Jason -- you the man on those crokies. Mine were plain black with "Walt Disney World" scripted on the back. I forget how much they were, so just shoot me a PM or e-mail JennLynn and I will send you a check.

I submitted my resume to a few comps in your area... guess we will see what happens.

Hi All!:wave2:

Conny: Becareful with that leg! The DCl Konk Kooler recipe is:
1 oz light rum
3/4 oz dark rum
2 oz Pina Colada mix
2 oz Passion Fruit Juice
2 oz Orange juice
blend over ice

This should take your mind off the pain! :drinking1 just up the rum amounts! Our EMT advise just don't drive.:moped:

How cool! All I can say is... Florida Resident rates for DCL and WDW! Yeah baby! :teeth:

I wanna be a Florida resident too!!! I got talked out of Gainsville for my doctorate but all their brochures said 90 min from WDW...oh well maybe I'll teach there someday??

All of our friends were certain that we'd return from the cruise having booked a west coast cruise but we just weren't into it. Half the fun for us is getting away from the west coast!! Yeah, we're crazy!!

Ok, I finally got off my butt and put a few pictures on the web. Check 'em out at http://members.cox.net/jrydberg/disney.htm

BTW, I'm suffering SERIOUS DCL withdrawal. I wrote up a review of our cruise for a company bulletin board and that REALLY made me want to go again:boat:

Ah well, it'll have to wait til summer 2006, I think.

Jeff

Hi everybody

Thanks Lisa for the recipe, what else can I do than sit, watch TV,read AND drink. But I guess, the passion fruit juice will be difficult to get over here.

Its one more week of complete boredom, than I start physiotherapie and start working again. Can´t wait.

Jeff-those are really sweet pictures of your daughter, the one with princess Aurora is so cute.

Jason-it´s NOT fair to tease us with Florida resident rates, but go ahead and use them.

Heidi-did you post the picture of our meet in the rain at POR somewhere?I´m curious, how it turned out but forgot to ask.

Ok.back to ebay,I wanna do some shopping.
Bye,conny:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Jeff,

Great pictures. Glad you at least put one in of both of you to verify that BOTH of you went on the cruise.

I understand the withdrawal. Paul and I are already discussing when we want to go again. I think next time we're going to be selfish and do a couple only cruise...maybe while Robyn's working on the ship so we can see her occasionally but have most of our time to ourselves.

The one who's having SERIOUS withdrawal is Robyn. She's counting the days till she goes back "home". In her mind she lives on the Magic and visits Dallas/Plano on vacation. :sad1: for me. But :cheer2: for her. I really am glad she's found something she really loves to do.

Hi Reine.

Found you pm today,slow me.
Downloaded the picture, its great and send you a mail in return.
Thanks again.
Conny

Ok, you want to hear serious DCL withdrawl?? I had a dream that the Magic kept leaving port without me! And I realized that a month ago today we'd all be boarding the ship:sad: Not to mention the various merchandise I'm kicking myself for not having bought i.e. the extra scrapbook packet and the DCL robe.

We're still suffering from PDCD in Florida too! (Although, it is getting a little bit easier!)

I wanted to share some cruise pictures with you all. I wish I had been able to get more pics everyone but I'll work on that on the next cruise we all book together!

PaloBrunch.jpg

Palo Brunch with (from left to right) Ryan (MonkeyBoySmith), Heidi (Hydster), Jason (ThreeCircles), Travis (DisneyMagicTravis), Alice (Alice Sr.), and Tracey (LogansMommy_MD). I don't know about you all but the excellence of the champagne and food was only eclipsed by the wonderful company! :teeth: Sorry about the size!

EcoHike.jpg

The St. John Eco Hike with (from left to right) Bob and Brenda (Bobbidiboo), Travis and Jason, and Tim, Billy (front), and Bill (TDE1969). Sorry about the picture quality! I had to play with the contrast because the bright background washed us all out! At any rate, I'm so glad we ended up with other Dis'ers on this excursion. It was a lot of fun hiking up that huge (and I do mean HUGE) mountain with you guys and enjoying Bushwackers with you afterwards! We simply must do this again sometime!

LastMorning.jpg

The Cast of Table 54! From left to right, Conny (Conny264), Jason, Silke, and Travis. You couldn't ask for better dinner companions than these two!

GoodbyeSign.jpg

All good things must come to an end... I'll say it again, all of you guys from the Disney Magic May 1st Cruise really made the voyage that much more special. It was great getting to know you on this thread and through ThreeCircles.net and it was even better getting to meet you and being able to spend at least a little bit of time with each of you. We miss you all! ::yes::

In Jason's picture in Palo, that's Paul and I at the table in the background with Mom, Aunt and Robyn. You can see part of Paul's face and the back of my head. You really can's see the rest of our group. Anyway, we enjoyed it too but didn't get many pictures.

Reine--

How funny is that! I didn't even realize you guys were right next to us at Champagne Brunch. Too much of the fizzy stuff I guess! :teeth:

Ahhh.. slowly but surely it gets a little easier. We still miss everyone and the ship, but we are adjusting to normal life once again. JenLynn is begining to plan our WDW vacation for next summer, and i continue the debate on weather or not to become a DVC member. Oh and there is all that computer stuff that I do. :badpc:

Nice pics Jason!!! I take it by the looks of it you guys had Marc as your server?? Or is that Anne Marie's table?? Either way they are both great. We had Marc as our server for brunch and were very impressed with him, so we requested he be our server for dinner as well.

Reine-- funny you were right behind this rowdy crew... In the bach ground of one of our pics is Miss Saturday97 herself, Amber and her husband.

And Jeff -- we are planning a return during the summer of 2006 as well. Keep in touch!

Some how some way we need to have a reunion!!
Bowtie Joe

Just got my Castaway Club stuff in the mail... I wanna go again! waaaaah!

Anyway, definitely keep in touch Joe. I guess I have to wait awhile before I can sort out 2006 dates.
