Going in 21 days...woo hoo!! I haven't seen anything on the menu, but does anyone know if The Wave is still doing a breakfast buffet?

Last time I stayed there (this May) they did have the buffet. Although small, it was very high-end as far as foods. Some of the items I recall were lox, smoked pork corps, and Eggs Benedict with a Key Lime Hollandaise Sauce.

I ate off the breakfast buffet at the Wave a month ago. It was very good. While not as big as Boma, there was (I thought) more than an adequate selection of very good foods. Price wasn't much more than eating off the menu either, particularly considering you could get 2 drinks.

oh good..I would like to try the buffet. Hope it's still available. Was the food on the buffet good though?

Our Ratings of The Wave (Breakfast Buffet): (rev 4/5/2011)
. . . food price value: B
. . . food quality: B
. . . food quantity per serving: A
. . . food prep speed: B
. . . food selection: C
. . . seating quantity: B
. . . seating comfort: B
. . . eatery atmosphere: C
. . . eatery convenience: B
. . . staff friendliness: B
. . . staff helpfulness: B
. . . character interaction: n/a

NOTE: This is a new location for a breakfast buffet. The
buffet has significantly increased its variety, and now is
very much worth the visit. At just under $20 per adult, it
is extremely reasonable for a WDW buffet. For breakfast,
it's probably the best-kept dining secret.
It has Mickey
waffles and delicious sweet potato pancakes. They use
local fresh fruit and vegetables. For those with a smaller
appetite, one can do the usual ala carte breakfast menu.

Good to know! yay. I was reconsidering this one..now I think we'll keep it!

I think we'll try The Wave in Jan. I just have to choose between the Breakfast buffet and the new character lunch buffet coming in Dec.

i have a reservation at the Wave for breakfast. I didn't realize that it is a buffet because I was looking at allears menu and it didn't look like a buffet. Is it separate? Would like to know so that I don't get surprised when I show up for breakfast expecting one thing and getting another. :):dance3::banana:

The Wave has both a full menu for breakfast as well as a buffet. The buffet is nowhere near as large as at CM, 1900, 'Ohana or CP.
