Water Sprites from Boadwalk to Illuminations

Is it possible to rent water sprites from the boadwalk area, and ride them over to Illuminations, or is the area bouyed off? It would be kind of a really cheap fireworks cruise. And if so, the boats can only fit one person not 2, right?

What a good idea! It would be great but I'm sure they close off the area. BTW, the boats fit 2 people.

Sounds like a great idea but all watermice must be back to the dock by sunset!

I just called WDW-PLAY, and the lady said that nobody has ever thought to do that! However, they clear the lake at about 5:30, and the sprites don't go out after dark.
oh well, i almost had another budget idea for everyone.

Are they even allowed near Epcot during the day? I've never seen anyone in one over there. It might be dangerous with the Friendships docking in that area.
