Water Play Area In DCA

Is there still that little water play area in DCA? My mom thinks it was somewhere near the Bug's Life area. My mom took my oldest DD and she LOVED to play in the water. With all of the construction going on, is that area still there? Thanks

It's a lot smaller than it once was. Basically the only thing left is the princess dot puddle park.

It's still there. We went one year towards the end of September and it was still warm enough to play.

We always go in Sept and my kids love playing in it and the weather is hot enough to dry them off in a few hours. We will be there close to the same time this year as you. Sept 24th - Oct. 1st

Yep, DD4 and I were just playing in it last week!! Great fun and a much needed cool off! It is directly across from Frances Lady Bug Boogie!! Easy to miss as it is encompassed by leaves!!

Yeah, so glad it's still there and that Sept should still be warm enough (keeping fingers crossed). It's the little gems like a water play area that I think we'll all enjoy so much.

It's usually warm enough in DECEMBER for us to use it. The average high in September is 85, so you should be ok.
