Water parks

I am purchasing an 8 day water park plus park hopper. Can I visit a waterpark first? Or do I have to visit one of the major parks first?

We ALWAYS do a water park first... it's a great first day for us after we fly in... and then we gear up for commando park hopping the next day!!
