Water parks this winter

From the October hours I see that Blizzard Beach will be closing first for rehab again this year. Any idea when it will reopen and TL will close? We are going the week before Christmas and have never been to BB although we do love TL. Just thought it would be fun to try something different.

Also, do people really do the water parks in December??? I know my boys will be all for it. I guess coming from New England we have thicker skin when it comes to cold! Everything is heated right?
