First, I had NO clue how to word this title. Anyhow, what I want to know. We are off to the world next week and we are taking MIL w/ us. I had previously posted how awful that aspect was going to be :p . Anyhow, DH and I in the interim have decided that we would break apart most days. Allowing him and his mom to do their thing, then me and DS to do ours. Which I'm actually excited about (because DS is 11 and pretty soon he won't want to do these things w/ me).

Anyhow on to the question, DS and I are going to TL one day. Now, DH tells me him and MIL are coming too, because they have nothing else to do. MIL doesn't even own a bathing suit, much less like the outdoors. He's says she'll be fine. She doesn't want to swim or anything, she'll just "people watch". Is there area to just relax in. I mean where you can make a day of it???

Get there early, grab a chair by the shade, give her a nice book and let her sunbathe.

What about MIL going to DTD?

Isn't that going to be an expensive day of just "people watch" and relax?

Get her a refillable mug and get a lounge chair in the shade. I do it all the time.

She has the plus feature on her ticket (the Alamo tickets). Anyhow, she says she's never going back . So it doesn't matter to her!

::yes:: wondered if that might be the case once I hit "submit"
