Water Parks and More option

The question on the Disney Parks Mom blog was asked on June 12 and the answer was you can use the pass to go to Disney Quest until it ceases operation.

I feel that if someone had been denied entry to Disney Quest using this pass in the past seven months it would have been mentioned somewhere on the internet by now. Until then I will take ravenclawtrekkie's word for it and will find out for myself when I pick up my tickets on Sunday! :earsboy:

June 12? 2016 packages weren't released until the 22nd.

1) Is DisneyQuest no longer offered on this?

within a couple weeks of your check in date, usually a booklet outlining your trip arrives that includes some discount things in the back. Every trip I had there was a free disneyquest for 1 visit in it and it covered everyone traveling on the stay in my reservation.

It was announced to be closing but there is also a rumor it may not close just yet.

3) Have you visited the mini golf sites? Nice? or average?

I arrive every time saying I'm going to try it this trip but never made it. I do plan to eventually get there. also a note, there is usually a discount for a free game in the same booklet.

2016 package booklets include vouchers for WWOS, not DQ. And the DQ vouchers were for two single admission regardless of how many were in the room.

You reference a package. Are you talking about vouchers that come with a Magic Your Way Package from Disney? I'm talking about the Water Park fun and more option added to a base ticket. Just trying to clear up some confusion.

That was asked before any changes were made to the WP&M option.

I've included a screenshot of the relevant Disney Park Mom's blog with date.

Just to add to the mini golf...... you have to go before 4PM.

Remember in the summertime before 4 PM means it will usually be about 10000 degrees outside and slightly humid!

Hope they keep DQ open. The NBA experience that was to replace it, that deal apparently fell thru. I would like to see a good DQ refurb.

No, I'm talking about the initial timeframe that DQ changes took place. On June 15, DQ was included in both the package booklet and the WP&M option. On June 22, DQ was replaced in 2016 by WWOS for package vouchers. I'm not sure of the exact date the switch was made to the ticket option, but it was not prior to June 22. We booked our 2016 bounceback on 10/10, so it was at least before then because we do not have DQ included, just WWOS.

ETA: To help clarify, the person asking the question would have had a 2015 ticket, so it would have been included until closing its doors because it was included with tickets prior to the announcement. As with the person who mentioned their AP situation, the newer tickets do not include DQ. That's not to say they won't allow it if you show up and try, but there's no way to know in advance since it can change day to day. It shouldn't be counted on, but considered a nice surprise if it works out. Lol

Can you point me to something that shows no changes were made to the Water Park fun and more ticket option in regards to it including Disney Quest before June 22, 2015 because someone asked why it was no longer included on June 12, 2015 in the attachment I included in my last post.

I have no doubt you know what you know, but I would like to know as well! Please point me in the right direction!

Lol! I clarified what I meant in an edit above, and I hadn't realized the website removed the wording from the page by then. I'm mobile, so it was hard to read the screenshot.

The Disney Parks Moms blog, an official Disney source,

:rotfl2:

I used to read replies just to see how much bad info they used to give. Things have gotten better since the one post that said you could use two days of ticket in one day to park hop.

ETA: I just noticed you are new here. Just wanted you to know that my post was not meant to be sharky.

But I think there is a disclaimer on the Mom's panel that says that they not an official source of inforamtion.

That's one way to look at it. It says they are independent contractors and their views are their own and their responses aren't reviewed before they are posted. I take views to mean opinions and everyone makes mistakes! That's why pencils have erasers! And message board have edit functions! lol

But again, I will find out Sunday when I exchange my voucher in for my tickets. I plan on going to Disney Quest then, so we'll see if my plans will be changing! lol

Edit: Speaking of mistakes, It's July 12, not June! haha Thanks DonaldDuck77!

Good luck! Please report back with your experience. Have fun, no matter where you end up!

7/12 is July 12th, not June 12th. So the timeline works fine. Not saying the Mom's Panel is official and binding, but the dates make sense as it would have been a very new issue less than a month from the change.

Lol! Well that makes much more sense. Still likely would have been a 2015 ticket, which of course means it was included, but I suppose it could have been a new 2016 ticket. No way to know, unfortunately.

When I went to guest relations at Disney springs to pick up my park tickets the cm said Disney quest is included when I asked. Didn't want to post until I tried it for myself though.

I'm here now. I went up to the ticket window when i got here because I've never been here before and didn't know what to do. I showed the guy my magic band. He said "do you got fun and more?" I said yes, he said "oh, you're good. Just go in." I went into the entrance. The girl told me to scan my magic band and put my finger on the scanner. I did. It turned green. They let me in. I'm about to ride in my cyber space mountain "turbo shredder" creation.

I've done pirates, jungle cruise, Aladdin, and built, but not ridden, cyber space mountain. So far my favorite thing is the big picture of the Genie you walk into to get to the Aladdin ride! Lol

Fabulous news! Now if only it says that way for my June trip. Lol! Have fun!
