Water park towels

I have seen a few comments via social media that towels at the water parks are now free for everyone as of recently.

Can anyone confirm if this is the case? We are staying at the Swan and curious how much they are if they aren't free and if we can charge them/use apple pay to avoid having cash with us.

Went there two weekends ago and they were just handing them out near the gift shops to anyone that walked up and asked for one.

We were at Typhoon Lagoon on Wednesday 7/2, they just gave towels to everyone who asked and never asked me for hotel information or anything

Yes it’s true! No, you don’t have to stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel… you could stay at that Marriott Swan or Dolphin hotel and you’d still get a free towel in the Disney water parks! Even if you were local and you just bought tickets for 1 day and you weren’t part of a package or an overnight stay, it’s still free towels for you!

Me too, they were just giving them out at Singapore Sal’s.
