Wednesday is supposed to be our off day and my 4 year old is asking to go to a water park. I hate water parks but Dad isn’t here and this trip is about what she wants….. So what water park do we do??

She thinks she can swim way better the she can, will wear a life vest.

I’m leaning towards volcano bay as in august she enjoyed the kids are, but I’m open to all recommendations! The kids area at typhoon did not hold her interest to baby oriented for her and the wave pools scared me!

There isn’t a choice right now as only Blizzard Beach is open. TL is closed for refurbishment.

Although, with a 4yo BB would have been my first choice too!

Enjoy!!

My 4 yr olds loved BB back in the day. Big area for preschool adventurers. Depending upon when you are going VB fills up quickly and would be more of a hassle to get to if you are on or near WDW property. Check out both Tikes peak and Ski Patrol.

Thanks!
I would def pick BB. There's a great kiddie area.
Is it a splash type area or like real slides? I worry she will be bored at a real preschool area.

Look up youtube videos on blizzard beach. If your child likes frozen there is a whole new splash area there themed around it.

Not as much at Volcano Bay for a 4yo, so i would stick with BB. Of course, my 3yo prefers the kiddie area at TL (which your child does not), so maybe we have different tastes lol

She loved volcano bay, she enjoyed the kid area and both lazy rivers…. She is a maniac, but also trying to keep from me going crazy cause I don’t love water parks.

I know it hasn't been mentioned yet but I would not go to Aquatica. Both kids areas are closed, one is being replaced and the other is being refurbished and both won't be open until spring.

Good to know! Thank you

My daughter loved it at that age. especially trying to climb across the icebergs. Here's an example of some of the kiddie slides.

Blizzard Beach has a much better kids area than Typhoon! Several slides, both body slides and raft, and all bigger than the kids slides at Typhoon, a ropes/iceberg course to climb across, a nice lazy river, and the wave pool is gentle and not crazy like Typhoon's. And the family raft ride is a lot of fun.
