Water park second day?

Our flight was just pushed back 15 hours so that we will be arriving at the hotel after midnight. (So frustrating!)
I’m wondering if anyone else has had any luck with Disney allowing them to use the Water Park perk the next day if they arrive after midnight? It’s a quick trip for us where we were just doing Water Park and party, so I’m super frustrated by this and thinking about scrapping it.
Thanks for any help!

Disney didn’t even give people rain checks over spring break when they turned cars away from the water parks for parking capacity. Only rain checks we’ve seen were due to the water parks being closed for weather. I would stay off-site that night to guarantee your water park perk. Or different room category or resort so you have 2 seperate reservations.

Agree. Just heads up that if guests book 2 different reservations, even in the same room category, they need to be prepared for possibly changing rooms between reservations.

So frustrating! Have you reached out to the airline to see if there is a different flight option?

Basically there is not one that will work this airline, but I can book with other ones. Just not loving the times or price 🫤

I didn’t realize this was possible to do with the same resort. I’m wondering if I book standard room for first night and then preferred room for the next two if they’ll give it to me and also let me stay in my standard room (I hate moving rooms/split stays.)

Thats so incredibly frustrating. I am not one for big federal overreach but something should really be done to penalize the airlines more when this occurs.

It would be like going to an italian restaurant and ordering the osso bucco and paying up front. 5 minutes before the food come out the server comes over and apologizes and says they don't have osso bucco but you can order something else however you're still going to be charged for the osso bucco even if you now decide to get lasagna or spaghetti and meatballs. You can go somewhere else and get the ossu bucco but you won't get a refund only a gift card that expires in 6 months or maybe a year.

Idk. I would be worried they might merge the reservations somehow and you’d lose the 2nd waterpark ticket.

No, 2 separate reservations with 2 different reservation numbers will always stay that way unless the guest asks to merge and even then I'm not sure it would happen. We book more than one reservation, same resort, same room category all the time and our reservations have never been merged.
