Are we allowed to bring chairs and umbrella in the park? What about coolers with drinks/snacks? Where do we leave our belongings? Never been to the water parks before.

Thanks

As far as I know, you may not bring chairs or umbrellas. You may bring a cooler but it cannot contain glass or alcohol. You can rent a locker or store things by the chairs you select as "Home Base" at the park.

they have chair there but it is 1st come 1st get. However they are all over the place, some in shady (as in less sun, not the other type of shady lol) parts of the park.

We like to rent an "Umbrella" which is in a secluded area (not private) and it has 2 lounge chairs, 2 regular chairs, small side table and an umbrella. Its nice b/c its reserved and secluded enough you can keep your stuff slightly more safely. Its around $50 for the day.

If you really want private and safe, you can rent a cabana. they are different based on the parks, but you get a private area with a locker, fridge, towels (I believe) and an attendant to get you anything you need. Those are a few hundred $$ but worth it to some.

I guess it depends on the ages of the people going to the park. My son and I went and we found lounge chairs under an umbrella and planted our towels. We spent the day enjoying the rides and never ever sat in the lounge chairs. We picked up our towels when we were ready to leave. We rented a locker for our clothes and took a shower and changed into street clothes before we left. We'd have been better off just putting our towels in the locker with everything else. Again--it depends on your group. If you have a group who will be going off in different directions, it might be nice to have a spot to come back to.

My boys are teens so I don't need a chair for them. Only 2 chairs needed in the shade. We will be going the week of the 20th of August so not sure if it's still crowded at that time of year?
Is there a charge to park?

No charge to park at the water parks. Yay :)

Last year, I found an empty chair and plopped our stuff on it. Bag of towels, shoes and the clothes worn over bathing suits, my sons' goggles. I left it there all day long. We never actually sat down. However, I didn't go in any of the pools and was able to carry our phones, my husband's wallet and the car keys. At Typhoon Lagoon, there were plenty of shady spots when we got there at park opening. If you plan to be there at park opening, I don't think it is necessary to pay money for a cabana.

No, you cannot bring chairs and beach umbrellas in. Only a small rain umbrella is allowed.

Yes, you can bring a cooler with food, though I'd recommend a soft sided one. Not sure if they allow hard coolers, I don't think they do.

You will find no shortage of chairs that are supplied by the water parks. Many of them are shaded. If you get there at park opening, you'll have zero trouble finding shaded seats. If you get there later, go toward the "back" of either park. Everyone goes right for the chairs at the front. I've seen entire sections of chairs in the back of the parks empty at mid-day.

For your personal stuff, you can rent a locker if you want. They're cheap. Or just leave most of your stuff in the car.

Parking is free, and it's a relatively small parking lot so it's a short walk. At least compared to the 4 parks.

We use a locker for wallets, keys, and phones. Kept everything else (sunscreen, flip flops, towels) on a chair. No one has touched them yet. LOVE the waterparks!

More questions......is it possible to do both parks in one day and does a one day ticket allow hopping to the other park? Are the kids allowed to wear a shirt to keep from burning?
