Has anyone stayed at any of the www.niagarafallshotels.com properties on the one or two night water park package?

If so, would you mind sharing your experience with me? We would be considering staying at either the skyline inn ($159 Cdn per night plus tax for our date including room, water park passes and big time save discount coupons) or the Brock Plaza ($199 Cdn per night plus tax for our date).

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Also, can anyone tell me exactly what coupons/discounts are included in the
Big Time Saver discount package? It is also included with the water package.

Thank you

We stayed at the Brock Plaza but did not get a waterpark pkg. We could have added it for $20 per person.

The Brock was very nice (tiny bathrooms - shower only)

We did go up to the waterpark to check it out and it looked great.

We stayed last Sunday at the Skyline, the rooms are very basic, but my girls loved the waterpark. The waterpark was dead, Monday morning there was probably only 30 people there. We stayed at the Hampton Inn when the waterpark just opend, the rooms are nicer there, but the Skyline has the covered/enclosed ramp to the waterpark so that is really nice, especially at this time of the year. We paid $99 a night with the waterpark, so for that price you can't go wrong. 2 days in the waterpark was enough, so not sure if it would be worth a 2 night 3 day package.

Thank you both so much for the info.

Would you mind me asking how you acquired the $99 waterpark rate? That is an amazing rate.

Thank you

Brock Plaza is nice. Kind of one of the "old ladies" of Niagara falls hotels. Marilyn Monroe stayed there when she filmed Niagara. Water Park is great. You don't need to be staying on site to visit there. Skyline Hotel is just above the Brock. Owned by the same people. I think there is a walkway from their to the water park (one was planned anyways). If you want a Falls view take the Brock. If you're after the waterpark only take the Skyline.

We got the $99 rate in June when the waterpark first opened, they had the opening special till the end of the year. We checked the waterpark website a few days before we were going to go, and for the Sunday night it was only $129.

Thanks for all the info. I have stayed at the Brock a couple of times but it was several years ago. It was a nice hotel with a great location. Have also stayed at the sheraton (when it was the foxhead). It is a spectacular hotel. But on a tighter budget now, so the skyline would be acceptable. Just not sure if it is worth $159 (plus 14% tax) for the one night water park package.

If not staying at one of the www.niagarafallshotels.com hotels, does anyone know what the price would be to go to the water park (2 adults, 2 children under 10)?

btw, we are looking at going the end of May, 2007 for one night.
What about using a CAA card? Would there perhaps be a discount on a one night water park package? Or does anyone know if any other way to get a discount?

Thanks

I believe the Americana on Lundy's Lane has an indoor waterpark, why don't you check that out? I haven't been to it, but my Mom lives in Niagara Falls and she mentioned it to me once or twice before Great Wolf Lodge was on the scene.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn for two nights at the end of August on a water park package. Quite a bit cheaper than the other hotels and only a few minutes to the water park (across the street and through a parking lot). The rooms were clean and they also have a nice hot/cold breakfast included with the room.

I found the water park brochure that we received at check-in at the hotel. It says that you can purchase two additional passes with a package for $19.95 each. A savings of $25 each so I am assuming that the regular price is $44.95. No mention of children or adult.

Americana Resort on Lundy's Lane. We have been a few times and we love it!!! Clean, large, family rooms - bunk beds for the kids - fun - Also, the indoor waterpark was great. We used it before check in and after checkout at no additional cost! Check out their website!

We love the Americana! They are very kind there....always upgrade us to the 2 room suite and a fireplace! S
