Okay, I say no, but my DD wants to go swim in the Shark Reef. Anyone know about the temp's in mid December? :confused3

If we went it would be on a Saturday (12/17) and the park hours are 10-5, are we looking at crowded conditions?

Any help would be greatly helpful!

Oh my goodness - layering is the way to go in December. I would start the day with a tshirt, sweatshirt, and jacket. Slowly but surely the layers would change. :) I think our hottest day was around 80. Besides, a lot of the waterparks close for refurbishment throughout the winter months so make sure to check that out before you go.

I know that DBf and I will be in TL - but then, we are from the UK so most Florida weather is warm for us!

We had a great time at Typhoon Lagoon a couple years ago in January. Although the temps were in the high 60s, the water was very warm and we practically had the run of the place. From pictures I see that the kids, my husband and I all ran around in our bathing suits that day, so we obviously weren't that effected by the "cold". As an example of how small the crowds were: picture the wave pool with about 12 people in it. No kidding. Awesome. When we were there in November, the wave pool was jammed. I kept thinking "hey, everybody get out of my pool!". :cool1:

I plan on being at TL on 12/10! Gotta ride Crush n Gusher if nothing else! I know they heat the water, so unless the air temp is below 70, I should be OK. I won't be arriving before noon.

BTW, TL will be open until Christmas (BB is closed right now). After Christmas, they switch and TL will be closed and BB open.

I'm hoping to hit TL next month, but it's really hit or miss weather-wise. I've reminded the kids it's not a definite plan, but a hopeful one.

We will be at TL on Sunday, December 4th! We are here in sunny CA right now where it was 88 yesterday so we will try and bring some of that warm weather with us!

Dw and I were in Disney in Dec of 04 and went to TL. It helps that the water is heated.

If the sun is out and it's over 70-we'll be on an innertube at TL in early December. :)
