Water Park in December?

This will be our 4th trip, and I'm thinking that it would sound fun to go to a waterpark. Is the best way to add it to our tickets, or just pay for it at the gate? I know the weather is iffy, but I figured we could play it by ear, and if the day was supposed to be nice, we could use that day for a water park. Is Typhoon Laggon usually closed during this time also or are they still open then? And, how busy are the water parks? I do not want to go and stand in line to do things. I think that TL sounds like much more fun than BB, but if we only have one option, then I guess we only have one option.

The best options for tickets really depends on if you would use the plus feature for anything else. If you plan on doing Pleasure Island or Disney Quest during your trip, or if you plan on doing the water parks on more than one day, then your best bet would be to add it to you tickets. If, however, you are only doing the one water park one day the cost is slightly less to just by the ticket at the gate.

daydreamer said exactly what I was going to say about the price. I have been if Feb and usually only one park is open, and it was different each time. In 2005 TL was closed only BB was open

I think this year BB will close as TL has already closed this year but not 100% sure.

Thanks for the tips. I think we'll play it by ear, and if the weather is decent, we'll try a water park out. We just think that Typhoon Lagoon sounds a lot more appealing.

My husband and daughter went to BB last January and it was almost empty. They didn't mind the cold while in the water, but felt the cold while walking up the slides. They had a blast. Debby
