Water park EMH

I was just checking hours for BB and TL and it is showing EMH every day for the month of August. Is that 1 hour early in the am and 3 hours after it closes? Don't they have select days like the theme parks?

When we were there in July both water parks were open 1 hour early for resort guests every day. TL had the evening hours 2 nights while we were there, but BB didn't have any evening EMH.

Typhoon Lagoon was built with NIGHTTIME LIGHTING.
So it will be the park with EVENING EMH ("up to" 3 hr),
and MORNING EMH (1 Hr), every day thru the period listed.

Blizzard Beach does not have much NIGHTTIME LIGHTING.
So it will be the park with only MORNING EMH (1 Hr), every day thru the period listed.

No regulation that says they MUST stagger the EMH days.
This is "ON-SEASON" for heat and swimming.

When you click through the calendar to the EMH detail page, it shows morning EMH for both TL and BB every day in August. Evening EMH are much more limited; there are none scheduled for BB and only August 5 and 12 for TL.

What constitutes a "good seat" at a waterpark?

(As I type this, my mind wanders to other possible definitions of "good seats".)

For me, a good seat, as an introvert who needs shade, is somewhere out of the beaten path, preferably with greenery around, with shelter from sun overhead, and definitely not smack dab in the middle of a sea of white chaises.

Where, hopefully, I can actually read a book for an hour or so after I've done all the slides and sent the kids off for more.

When the kids were littler it was a good seat by the kids area.

Ok we just went to TL and got there during the AM EMH, but not right at opening. I would guess we arrived about 20-30 minutes after the EMH started. We scored a primo seat under one of their roofed huts in the kiddie section. And along the way, we saw plenty of shaded seats. So I'd say, that the EMH is nice not to have to make a mad dash at rope drop and elbow your way to any scrap of shade you can find. I'd get up early for it again.

We found both early and late EMH hours valuable in July. Don't expect everything to be open and available though. For example, Crush and Gusher at TL closed early during the evening EMH. (I understand that the lighting is not sufficient for the life guards to see the pool area; a safety reason.) And, during morning EMH at BB, the family raft ride didn't start operating until the regular opening time. During morning EMH at TL, if there is a surfing class going on, the wave pool doesn't open until that is done (which was fine with us since DD was in the surf class).

I just raise this because people can be disappointed if their favorite attraction isn't available during EMH.
