Has anyone done the EMH in the mornings for the water parks? What is the temperature of the water like? Is it warm enough? Does it really help to get there earlier--are they pretty crowded? It seems they have them everyday so it might be less crowded than a theme park EMH which is only one park one day a week in the mornings...

We did both EMH mornings by 9:30 at the Water Parks last week . The first day at Blizzard was not too bad as far as temperature and the water was very warm. The next time we went to Typhoon Lagoon a few days later it was pretty cool morning a breezy but we still had a great time, just spent as little time as possible in the shade!!!
It was like have a private park all to yourself until about 11:00 both days. We had been on every single slide and some a few times by that time.

During the warmer months the water parks get crowded fast. We like to find a nice place to camp for the day, in the shade and somewhat private, or at least away from the large masses. We usually get there just before the gates open and can find a nice place in the shade.

One thing to also consider during the summer months, June - August, Thunderstorms happen almost on a daily basis between 3:00 and 6:00. When a T-Storm rolls into the area, they will close the slides and pools. It helps to get there early so when 3:00 rolls around, you have been able to get in more of the slides.
