Water park crowds...and question about Rockin' Rollercoaster

Hey gang! First post here. Probably not as much of a Disney veteran as many of you here, but have been there a lot. Started going when I was a kid...in the late 70's. Now that I have a family of my own, we've tried to take the kids when we can. We used to live in Pennsylvania, so we would fly down. We made 3 trips between 2008 and 2012. Then we moved to Atlanta in late summer 2014, within driving distance. Didn't go that summer, but last year we made a 17 day trip down and bought annual passes. So over the past 11 months, we've made 5 trips there. Planning our last trip down before annual passes expire in July. We're going for another marathon 17 day trip.

By nature, our entire family is a bunch of early birds. Wife and I get up ridiculously early (4am during the week, 7:30am on weekends), and we all go to bed relatively early. So while we definitely make a point to do night activities, very often we're with the crowd that opens the parks and then leaves before dinner. Every time we've gone to a water park, we've gone as soon as it opens. We've never once stayed past about 2pm. This year, we're thinking about switching scheduling up a bit. My kids, who are now ages 12, 8 and 8 (twins) love the huge slides in both parks. Our experience is that if you show up at opening, you can get right on them, but by 11am, the line is really long. Does it slow down late in the day? BB is open until 7pm and TL open until 5pm. What is it like the last few hours they're open?

Also, does anyone know if there's a way my wife can see the inside of Rockin' Rollercoaster but not ride it? She's not a roller coaster person at all, but I think she'd enjoy the opening video and then to just see the loading area. Can she then exit somewhere? Is that door near where the cast members stand to tell you what row to go into an exit for guests?

1. I'm anyone.
2. She can. She can wait in line with you.
3. Yes. (This is true of ALL attractions at WDW. Nobody is forced to ride anything.)
4. Yup. Off to the Gift Shop at the end of the ride.

Sweet, thanks! Probably should have phrased my question better. Yeah, they certainly wouldn't force someone to ride something (though my kids would think it hysterical if my wife had to ride it...), just didn't know if there was an easy access exit. Perfect.

Any thoughts on the late day crowd at BB or TL?

We just got back and visited TL. The peak crowd is definitely from 11-2. We were walking out around 3:45-4 and could walk on a bunch of slides, even crush n gusher. We found it was best to get there at opening and start riding big rides. Take a lunch break and hit the wave pool after lunch until some of the crowd thins out.
