During our trip next month we will visit Typhoon Lagoon for a day. We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. They are both good in the water and have been to water parks near home many times. Will we be able to hold them to go down any of the slides? We don't plan on taking them on anything extreme like a speed slide or something that 'wouldn't be a good idea' for a little one. We just wonder if we will be limited to the lazy river, wave pool and kiddie area. Any guidance on this is appreciated. Thanks

nope they can go down the family raft ride in blizzard beach and anything in the kiddy area but you wont be aloud to hold them down the "real" slides.... there is a calmer part of the wave pool... my 3 year old went in the big part of the pool but every time the big wave came i had to pick her up when ever it came. I mannaged to not fall over while holding her but i only went up to my knees in depth it was quite physically exhausting to do it (i was 12 weeks pregnant though). The kiddy area is nice and they can do the lazy river at typhoon lagoon but that is about it.

I have kids at similar ages and was wondering the same thing. Thanks for the info! :thumbsup2

You can't ride double on any of the slides anywhere at WDW, the water parks, the themed pools. Other than those that are meant to be ridden as a family in a large float.
