Water bottles

Hi there. In the past, I have always carried a water bottle. It was a Naglene water bottle and worked well. However, I see the new stainless steal ones out and was looking at a SIGG or Klean Kanteen. Does anyone have one of these and are they any different really than what I have? Does the stainless really work? Thanks for your honest input.

Is there a difference? Yes and No. The plastic bottle without PBA are good and fine. The Siggs are made in Switzerland and the other copies are made in China. You'll pay more for a Sigg. I doubt the China made alum. bottles have any problems. There are two types of aluminum bottles. Single wall and double wall which gives some insulation. The only bad thing with the aluminum is that they ding up rather easy. I've never seen one burst or crack, you'd have to drive your car over it. Siggs have never given any flavor off. I do notice the sigg tops aren't great.

Also, my Klean Kanteen seems to keep my water a lot colder for longer than my old Nalgene bottle did.

Is there any difference between the brands Klean Kanteen and SIGG?
I am so out of this kinda stuff....

I bought a Sigg bottle for my daughter about a year ago, and I have to admit I don't really like it. The mouth is so narrow that it's difficult to clean and it's next to impossible to cram ice cubes in there. It's also heavier and Iworry about washing it in the dishwasher. Plus, DD (3.5) has a hard time twisting the top to open the spout.

I just got a nalgene bottle with the leak-proof valve, and I much prefer it, especially since it's about 1/2 the price of a Sigg.
