Do they have bottles of water available on the ship? If so, do they charge for them?

Yes...they sell bottled water all over the ship...I forget how much they cost....either$1.50 or $2.50 plus auto gratuity.

I've read that some folks take a 24 pack of water and some canned drinks in a second suitcase. When the drinks are gone they have the space available for souvenirs. Depends on how cheap ..oops I mean cost conscious you are and how many people in your group. But it's a thought.

I think I've also read of several folks taking limos that stop by a grocery store and pick up water on the way to the port.

We haven't gone yet but DD the CM was buying water this morning at Wal-Mart to keep in her room.

We brought a 12 pack of water. After it was empty we use the drink station to fill the bottles up. The water at the drink station is filter and taste quiet good.

Thanks!!! I might just bring my own bottles. That could get kinda expensive buying a bottle every time I get thirsty.

We haven't been on our cruise yet, but I've heard the ship's tap water, with all it's filters, taste just fine

Water on the magic is just fine. We always take a water bottle for each of us in our carryon's on the plane. We just filled them from the tap in the cabin, or from the fountain at the beverage station.

ive been wanting to go on a disney cruise for a while now. im glad to hear that the water tastes pretty good from the drinking stations. 1 more defensive statement for me to use. :D

They have evian and dasani on the ship. The water from the fountain is fine also.

We always bring our own..since we like having the water available in the room in the morning, night when other things are shut down. You can always get them from room service, but more convenient to just have them there.

We aren't pop drinkers..and we drink a lot of water.

I packed 24 bottles of water and 3 boxes of soymilk in my soft sided cooler with wheels. Bought my cooler at Sam's Club for under $25 and I love it already! We packed our lunches in it for our St. Marteen and St. John beach days along with loads of water. We would refill our bottles on the ship. For Casatway day, we took water again but threw our sand toys, sunscreen ect. in as well for wheeling onto the beach (as lunch was provided on CC). Our soymilk stayed cool enough in the mini - fridge on board. I would use this same method if/when we cruise again.

We bring our own water and soda packed in a soft sided cooler. It gets hot out on those islands, our family drinks alot of water. Soda is frankly, a little pricey on the ship and my kids are big fans of root beer (which they don't carry).

We freeze some of the water ahead of time to keep our snacks for the drive down cool. The extra space in the cooler comes in very handy when packing to leave.

The water on the ship is fine. But I learned my lesson years ago, in Mexico, I always carry my own.::yes::

montizumas revenge, eh? my friend got that in cancun last spring break.

We brought 3 12 packs of water, a large bottle ofapple juice , some juice boxses and beer for me, DH, and my 2 DDs. We drank it all and were very glad we brought it. We used it for all the excursions and on CC. We packed it in a large LLBean duffle with the lifejackets for our kids. It worked out great for us and we had plenty of room for all the extras we bought while we were there. I think for the 4 of us it would get pretty expensive for water and juice if we bought it all on the ship. I rather save the money and spend it on souveniers or excursions.
