We are headed to Disneyworld in one month and it will be hot, hot and HOT! Last time we were there I saw some kids walking around with like necklaces that held water bottles. Does anyone know where to get these? Want to get some for our three kids so I don't have to keep digging for water in the stroller....Thanks! :sunny:

At almost any snack stand in WDW they are avialable for sale. Don't remember how much, probably around $3 per.

Yeah, pretty much anywhere that sells bottled water sells the necklaces. You buy them in addition to the water, I think they're $2-3 plus another $2 or so for the actual water.

If you are using a stroller, have you thought of taking a Camelpack ? The fit nicely over the stroller and if filled with ice in the morning , they stay cool all day

Thank you Grumpy! Great idea, just ordered a Camelbak!

We had fanny packs that had insulated water bottle holders. They worked great, too. We filled the water bottles with ice in the morning and the water was still cold at lunch. We had the Brita sport bottles so we were able to fill them up at the fountains. At lunch we got more ice and off we went. We only had one really hot day when we were there, though.

I use the insulted holder on my fanny pack, love it.

You can order a dozen of them for $4.95 from Oriental Trading Company, either their website or the catolog. There are only 3 of us but I'm going to get the dozen because they're so cheap and give the rest away.

what is a Camelpack ?

"PATRIOTIC WATER BOTTLE HOLDER NECKLACES" from the Oriental Trading Company, how sturdy are these? I did a search and I did find them. The ones we used two years ago were a mess. The bottle kept slipping out of it and they eventually broke. They seem sturdier than what I see in the picture of the necklaces. We are park commandos and we need something tough to keep up with us.

There might be a camelpack, but the company I found was spelled Camelbak. It is a backpack that has water storage capibility. The one we purcahsed has room to store things like diapers and wipes and more. There are MANY varieties/sizes to choose from and more manufactures also. So far most people sing the praises of Camelbak. We are going to ditch the diaper bag and have this that also holds water. These "backpacks" are used for hiking, bike riding and so on so they are made to be able to supply water with minimal weight and effort for those who are carrying it. We have very young children and thought that they might get tired of having something around their neck or waist all day. This way the stroller does most the lugging around. (AND DaD when we are on a ride  )

Yep camelbak is what i was refering to . sorry i was having a bald moment

My husband used his Camelbak (actually another brand purchased from Costco for under $25) when we went to Disneyland for 5 days. It holds 2 liters of water (he drinks around 2 gallons a day) and worked GREAT. I'm thinking of getting smaller versions for the kids as they go through at least 3 16-ounce sport bottles of water in a regular day, let alone walking around in the heat of FL. I don't want to have to pay a fortune for a ton of water if we could just bring those and strap them onto our backs. My hubbie loved having his water at his disposal....and hands free too! He just had to put the end of the tube in his mouth and drink up.
