Water Activities at the Poly

I am loking for information regarding the rental of the mini speed boats or "water sprites". Does anyone have experience with these boats. I am curious as to the cost per hour and if the rental is worth an hour or 2 of entertainment whil my DD takes a nap. Just curious, I have always wanted to rent one I just never knew if it was worth it. Thanks in advance for any information.

The last I knew, these boats were $15 per half hour. This was a while ago that we rented them, so the rate may have changed.

From what I understand, they are now $22/half hour and $32/hour. We have always enjoyed renting them. I understand the new "Water Mice" are a bit faster than the old "Water Sprites".
We opt for an hour each time because that gives you plenty of time to explore both the Seven Seas Lagoon AND Bay Lake. We enjoy renting the pontoon boats while we're there too (then again, we're a boating family).

That is great information, I will be staying at the Poly and I know that the rent them on site. Ideally I intend to rent one the day I arrive while my DD & DW nap. I didn't realize that you could explore areas other than the 7 seas lagoon. It should be fun, thanks for the info!

There are some larger boats available to rent as well (for more money of course).

I really have my heart set on the little mouse boats, they just look like a lot of fun and since ill be going it alone it seems like the logical choice (and I have wanted to drive one since I was a kid). I did read that you can rent the larger boats for a fireworks or dinner cruise or something to that effect. My family would probably like that (assuming the weather in December cooperates). Thanks.

There are pontoon boats that you can rent to pilot yourself during the day....no night time for guests. For the fireworks cruises, you would have a driver.
