We have a 5:20 ADR at LTT and Wishes is at 6 p.m. so I was wondering if there was a spot at or around LTT where we could watch Wishes? Thanks.

When we went last year to MVMCP they didn't do the fireworks until later that night at around 10ish i think. They did them between the parades. I don't know about the view from LTT.

Lets address a couple of things:

First: I dont remember them doing Wishes before MVMCP. Normally they just do the holiday wishes during the party.

Second: You can't really see the fireworks from Liberty Tree. The best bet is to walk out and over to the open area at the Liberty Square (in terms of staying near LTT).

i stood over near that way when the holiday fireworks were starting last year. I couldn't hardly see anything and what I could seee was not that fantastic. I did, however, figure something out from that experience. If you wait until the fireworks begin and everyone is looking up in the air, you can weave your way through the crowd and get a fantastic view the the show in front of the castle. MVMCP fireworks are awesome by the way.

Okay, I checked the official Disneyworld website, and the schedule for the Magic Kingdom on Dec. 18, Monday, says there will be Wishes at 6 p.m. and a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at 7 p.m. Disney did not make a mistake, did they?

Not sure of the time accuracies, but you would be able to see the firewotrks from there, as they really do shoot from quite a distance in back of the castle, actually out of the park proper. However, you will not be able to actually see the castle, which is sort of an integral part of Wishes. If the fireworks themselves are you main thing, should be fine. I have watched from there often.

Thanks, Dan, exactly where in the Liberty Tree Tavern area do you stand so you can have a good view?

Hey Red.

Will you ever get this trip "locked in"? :goodvibes

You can see Wishes from over by the Riverboat boarding area very near (just across the walkway from) the Liberty Tree Tavern.

Again, you should see Wishes at least ONCE from in front of the castle... but if you position yourself near the Riverboat dock, but make sure your line-of-sight can see between the buildings into the Main Street Hub, you'll still be able to see a bit of Tinkerbell as she decends.

Cool, thanks, Robo. I hope the spot won't be occupied when we're done with dinner.

RED?! Grrrr.... (Okay, self, calm down, count to ten, refrain from unleashing tirade reserve for the likes of Mrs. Lynde... breathe in, breathe out... ;) )
