Watching the Ships leave Port Canaveral

Hello all! We are always onboard and never watching, but this year we have a group that wants to escort us down to the Port as we board the Dream and they were wondering if there is anywhere that they can watch the ship pull out? They have little kids with them and thought it would be cool for them to see before heading on with their plans.

Jetty Park has an admission fee .... $5 per car.

I believe you can park for free near terminal 2/3 and walk to the public boat launch area and then into Jetty Park ... no charge for walk ins

also for now, the fishing pier is closed due to damage from IRMA but the sea wall area between the boat ramps and the fishing pier is prime viewing ...

Fishlips and Grills are also extremely popular as is Rusty's and Millikan's .... the port Webcam is on the roof of Fishlips (just west of Grills>

Just east of Millikan's is a small public park area (just west of Miss orlando & Cape Canaveral fishing boats office) ... free parking and watching from here too
<Millikans is west of Grills label and the Miss O' fishing office is just about the G of the label ...>

Watching the ship leave is awesome!!! Tell them to bring a zoom camera or binoculars and they can see up up close. They should have dinner at Grills...outside and watch the ship leave. Here are some pics when I did that years ago....
