Watching MK fireworks

Is the Plaza Pavilion a good place to watch fireworks and see Tinkerbell's flight. Does the Plaza restaurant have outdoor seating? Trying to decide what to do Monday night! Thanks!

It does have outside seating, but I think that there are trees around that may block your view. I have watched the fireworks from pretty much everywhere. 2 recommendations:

1) In front of the castle, in the middle area where Walt and Mickey are and to the right side (near tomorrowland entrance off main street

or

2) Near the Emporium or Flag on Main Street

If you get to the Plaza Pavilion early enough to get a spot on the lower level right by the wall, you will have a great view and Tinker Bell goes right over your head. This is our favorite spot and it's usually not that crowded.

gshoemate-Do you avtually sit at a table at Plaza Pavilion near the wall? have not done this before and want to know what I'm doing. Thanks.

The Pavilion is all outdoor seating and there are 2-3 levels of seating. The upper section is covered but the lower section is not. It is right on the water and there is a wall that is about the height of the tables, the wall seperates you from the water. There are a few bushes but they are usually trimmed so they do not get in the way of your view. You should have a perfect view of the castle from here. Now this is where we viewed the old fireworks, it looks like Wishes may be differant in the fact that they come from differant directions, by sitting at the Pavilion you may not be able to see all sides, mostly you will see the castle and anything happening directly around the castle. My suggestion would be as soon as you get into MK, take a run to the Pavilion and see if this is the view that you want, then you won't have to stress about where the best viewing area is.

I agree, the Plaza is a great place to view FitS fireworks. The Wishes show may prove to be different as another poster mentioned. Tinkerbell flies directly over you, and waves at you. This is the best spot to get the closest look at Tinkerbell if that is a major concern of yours. I just saw the FitS this past Sat. from the Plaza Pavilion and we had a great view of everything. There are some locations where trees can get in the way, but it you get there early enough and scout out a good table in the front you will have no problems.
