Watching for BOG Breakfast to be Extended-Now Open :)

I just got a ressie for Dec. 1st! In my confirmation email it said I could pre- order on Nov 1st. So i guess pre-ordering food is still an option ?

I got breakfast reservations for both Nov. 16 and Nov. 20. Great, right? Well, here's something I don't understand.

Disney Dining Scout sent an email saying three times were available for Nov. 16. I did a search. Nothing. Did the same search a half-dozen times, and on the sixth search they popped up. So why didn't they appear the first five times? ... And the Nov. 20 wasn't viewable when searching the Disney site. But then I clicked on the Disney Dining Scout link, that linked to official Disney site with the start of a reservation. Why I couldn't search and find a reservation directly, I have no clue.

MWAHAHA. This is so perfect! Now all those other yahoos who aren't insane like all of us are waiting for August 5th to roll around. Thanks for the false information, Disney! The Disers are never fooled!

Just have to say....Disney is GOOOOD!!! They put the word out that you can't start making BOG breakfast reservations until 8/5 but then on the same day, they decide to open it up. I am thinking they were afraid that the dining system would crash with everyone trying to make reservations. Thank goodness for the DISers who kept checking for all the rest of us. I am just now a little worried I won't be able to make my February dining reservations because everyone else who isn't on the DIS will be on their trying to make their BOG breakfast reservations, I do that on 8/5.....ugh!!

Dunno, but I had the same issue - wanted 8:00 a.m. on November 1 and first time said nothing available, then showed 8:15, then I refreshed again and it showed nothing (though "uh oh, should have taken the 8:15), then it showed 8:15 again so I booked that. Just went back and tried again and 8:00 was available, so I canceled 8:15 and booked 8:00.

Just want to mention that I saw a dis post about this....they held people coming from breakfast back behind the RDers recently....just want to make sure you are aware that they might be changing some procedures...or it could have been a fluke!

My date there were none available before 8:45. Really stinks. Have been looking multiple times a day for several weeks and in the last hour they booked up.

I cannot raise my hand as it would distract me from clicking "Find a Table" furiously between now and August 5th.

So glad I kept clicking "find a table" furiously! I am not at all surprised they didn't wait until the 5th to open it up. Once the DPB had a news story it was inevitable that the phone calls for reservations would start rolling in like crazy and they wouldn't want to field all those calls...so opening up the online reservations diverted many of them!

Just want to mention that I saw a dis post about this....they held people coming from breakfast back behind the RDers recently....just want to make sure you are aware that they might be changing some procedures...or it could have been a fluke!

People have since reported that they are still allowing BOG people to line up early. It seems that was a one time occurance. Let's hope!!
