Watch out Dumbo, There's a bigger Circus coming to Town...Triplets take on the World

Haha. I love it. No waffles for you!
Oh my gosh. I love that Disney store. We once walked out of it and were a block or so away before I looked down and realized Abi (about 1.5 at the time) was holding a few stuffed animals in her stroller. Oops. Had to take those back. They laughed so hard. It is such a great Disney store.

Oh my goodness it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO funny Suzi is way too much fun. I just adore her.

I just LOVE that store!!! it's so amazing!!!

And American Girl! Oh the money and time that has been spent in that store. It was definitely our daughter's favorite place. :goodvibes

Yes. Thankfully my daughter is more into their animals then the dolls...

I had a friend that refused to ever go in there with me. She loathed it. It was pretty funny.
Can't wait to see more!

I love your friend.. i can relate!

My rash didn't hurt it was just to fugly. My kids didn't want to even walk near me.

Nope does not hurt and yes ugly!!!

The only time it hurt was in the dryers at Islands of Adventure. After their river raft ride you can pay to go into dryers. We were soaked so we paid the $5 to get dry. Well, we didn't get all the way dry, but the heat on my rash was painful.

Never heard of this! thanks for the warning!!!

So, if you get it again, I would avoid any trips in the dryer.

i promise to stay out of all dryers in Disney. No matter how much my husband tried to stuff me into one in the laundromat

If all the restrooms overflowed at the hospital where I work, they would have to close down. That would be bad.

i wish they would have.

When you said you took them to tour the real Chicago, I got a bit scared. When I lived in Stockton, CA, there were just places you did not go. EVER! That is what I was picturing. There is Mo passing out the weapons so they can experience the Chicago that tourists don't go to. Glad it was tamer than that.

HA HA! No.. but they were a little apprehensive over a few of our neighborhoods..

We were the first family at the Disney Outlet store once. They had Chelsea wear a Magical Cape and open the store. She loved it. I didn't know they did special things like that.

"let the magic begin!"
:rotfl2: :lmao: Yes they have all kinds of little things they can do. Depends on the Cm's working the store..

American Girl Doll store. No thank you. We somehow are on their catalog mailing list. Chelsea wanted one for awhile, but she isn't a play with dolls kind of girl. I just couldn't see her playing with it. When Marissa was younger, we were at the Goodwill. Well, she spots a doll from across the store and shouts, "An American Girl Doll!" Well, I tell her to hustle over there, because she just notified the entire store. She ran and grabbed it. It was a historical one and I have forgotten the name by now. It had all the clothes but was missing shoes. We paid $5 for the doll. I bought shoes on eBay and she was a happy camper. Had to watch all the American Girl doll movies. So, I purposefully, kept Chelsea away from that. Marissa sold her doll at a garage sale for $10 a few years later.

I wish i could say "glad you found one" but i can't... :lmao:

Well, this got lengthy. Sorry. Well, it is Friday, I am glad you survived the week.

Happens! Still glad to have you! :thumbsup2

Happy Friday to you!

I think Jill is really Meg as in JediMeg. We really got some strange looks when we came out of the door marked Authorized Personnel Only and again when we went in it later. We had so much fun that day. Even I thought the American Girl store was a bit creepy. And those girls dressed as the dolls ? Shudder.....

Suzi cracked me up when she said "you can't get them there" with such a straight face. I cracked up again just reading aboot it.

Wow...massive updates my friend.

Ahhhh....Lower Wacker Drive...gotta love it. ;)

I LOVE that Disney Store. I don't get to it nearly enough, unfortunately (I'd have to take a cab from my office there and back).

I cannot tell you the last time I was at Water Tower. 20 years ago maybe?

Where is that place with all the gears/sewing machines?

I can't wait to hear where you go to lunch.

We complained because we walked miles and mikes to get to lunch.

Oh and Shannon lives in Brookfield!

I think Jill is really Meg as in JediMeg.

Thank you!!! I fixed it!!!

We really got some strange looks when we came out of the door marked Authorized Personnel Only and again when we went in it later. We had so much fun that day.

The looks were of people totally JEALOUS of the coolness that was oozing off of us!

Even I thought the American Girl store was a bit creepy. And those girls dressed as the dolls ? Shudder.....

Yes.. ::yes::

Suzi cracked me up when she said "you can't get them there" with such a straight face. I cracked up again just reading aboot it.

oh my she is a pistol!!!!

Wow...massive updates my friend.

It's friday and i am still on strike.

Ahhhh....Lower Wacker Drive...gotta love it. ;)

HA HA HA HA HA!!!

I LOVE that Disney Store. I don't get to it nearly enough, unfortunately (I'd have to take a cab from my office there and back).

I can see that. it's no where close to the business district.

I cannot tell you the last time I was at Water Tower. 20 years ago maybe?

I am not a fan of the place!!!

Where is that place with all the gears/sewing machines?

somewhere on Michigan!!! first time i have even seen it!

I can't wait to hear where you go to lunch.

seriously? You dont' know? I thought of ALL people you would guess it in a heartbeat!

We complained because we walked miles and mikes to get to lunch.

HA HA HA HA HA Miles and miles?!?! it was 0.6 miles. :rotfl2:
Can't say i didn't warn you!!!

Oh and Shannon lives in Brookfield!
NO KIDDING!!! That's the zoo we go too ALL THE TIME! she is closer to Kathy!

Yay!! Updates!!

Love the pic of Suzi and D in their adorable necklaces!! Very cute ladies!

That parking garage would freak me out too! Especially if I was alone!

Squeeeee for the Disney store! And how awesome to be the guest if honor!

What an awesome epic Dismeet! I'm pretty sure all of us not in attendance are extremely jealous! ;)

Bahahahhahahaha! Is the American Girl store really THAT bad?!?! Olivia is not really there yet but she's definitely beginning to be exposed to AG as her friends get them.... I see great expenses in my future....

You are killing me with grabbing Lego Iron mans junk! Lol.... Omg Mo! I can only begin to imagine the fun to be had with you!!!

Cool beans on the sewing machine displays! Wow!

You really have me curious with your lunch now!!! I can't wait to seeeeeee!

If we ever plan a trip to Chicago, you'll have to put together our itinerary, Mo. Looks like you guys got to see so much fun stuff!

I dream of taking my girls to an American Girl store one day, they are definitely baby doll kinda girls. I know we'd have such a blast. I had one growing up and Peyton has the Bitty Baby and the Bitty Twins. I think this Christmas Charlotte will be getting her Bitty Baby and Peyton will be getting her first big girl American Girl Doll. I think the closest American Girl store to us is in Atlanta though, and when I think of family vacation destinations, Atlanta is not on the list. Some day we will go to New York, so maybe we'll go to that store. Sorry you didn't enjoy it :goodvibes

I'm sorry that I have to ask this, but I have to put into perspective how creepy the girls dressed like the dolls were - were they store employees or fans/customers?

D~ - if you read this, can you PM the address to get my own Disney bling? We may need some at my house ::yes::

Wow - you weren't kidding about being on strike... Seriously - I am not going ot have time to finish my lunch, muchless get back up to my sewing room today, it's going to take me too long to do all of these responses... :mic:

I love how Suzi just says stuff... With the straightest face ever... And you are like... :scratchin Then  Then Bahahahahaha > cry > Bahahahahaha > cry some more > Bahahahaha She totally just takes you off guard. I love that girl!!! Friggin waffles... ROFL - Poor Nikki... I should mail her some waffles to make her feel better. ::yes::

Jennifer: My Disney jewels came from my friend Erin (NannyE) of Pixie Twist... I adore them!!! She did a fantastic job!

Oh yah - I will never forget Lower Wacker, or Upper Wacker, or Wacker Wacker. :worship: I am certain the Freddy does live down there somewhere.

Tour guide Mo is the best - I highly recommend that everyone who visits Chicago books her...

Ahhh... The Disney Store... I loved CM Christian... He was the best. Blush... He made me Guest of the day... I still have that sticker on my phone, but it's in horrible condition now. But I don't wanna take it off. Christian is now my FB friend... He's cool! :beach:

And the Dismeet! Super fun... I LOVED seeing Tasha again... And it was so fun to meet Meg and Ian! So glad they could join us for the day. I am looking forward to seeing Tasha again in August!

After paying for our purchases i figured we would go to the Scariest place on earth. I know D~ is a huge fan so i put my big girl panties on and brave the nightmare i was about to walk into.

Bahahahaha... I bet those girls did have BIG girl panties on. :scratchin You probably could have asked.

I am pretty sure those girls were employees? At least that's what I hoped. Now I do admittedly enjoy American Girl - but even that was a bit beyond creepy for me. :crazy2:

OMG!!! I was laughing so hard, I was crying when we realized that we got on that express elevator... And then I tried to tell Josh about it a few weeks ago, and I just got that "blank stare"... Tears were streaming down my face, I was laughing so hard. You guys should have seen the look on Mo/Suzi/Tess' face when we passed by their floor... and then did it again on the way down. I was in hysterics!

Oh Mo... I just love you... Grabbing the Lego guy's junk... It's just classic. :lovestruc

Shannon was so adorable!

Oh ROFL - in that Suess store... I think that lady wanted to throw us out. :scratchin

The sewing machines made Tess and I happy!

And I agree - with Tess... Mo made us walk F.O.R.E.V.E.R....... And that was JUST to eat...

Oh, but it was worth it - really worth it, I promise! I still have my hat!

I don't wanna see the Epic Dismeet Chicago version end... It was so much fun!!! I love my Dis girls!

D~

Thanks D~! I looked her up on Facebook and liked her page.

I really hope those girls dressed up like American Girls were employees, otherwise it's just way too creepy!

I would love to see that Seuss store!

I love that point when you are with your girlfriends and you are having such a good time with one another and laughing at the stupidest things and you suddenly realize that everyone around you probably thinks you are drunk or crazy or both but you're really just having a good time with your friends :goodvibes I think you guys might have been in that zone :upsidedow

That parking garage would freak me out too!

Oh no....this was NOT a parking garage. This was a hole in the sewer under a bridge. Seriously....the pic in the basement looking area....that is the inner workings of the draw bridge. The "engine room" if you will. You know the city tunnels that a highway goes through? You know those gated side entrances that say "authorized vehicles only"? Yeah....this is where she parks us.

But it was free. And creepy. And yes we did indeed get some strange looks coming and going. I mean....four "normal looking" women calmly walking out of a city sewer....complete with Disney bling all over??! Yeah....good times.

Poor Nikki... I should mail her some waffles to make her feel better. D~

I almost bought her a waffle magnet when I was down there. But it was $12 for a single magnet! I couldn't justify it. Sorry Nikki :(

Ok Mo. I don't know what happened, but I responded to the split stay/luggage question. And another time too. They are both gone. The DIS just doesn't work right from my iPad. Sorry. I promise I have been reading along all the time. I am faithful.......kinda.

Oh this update had me cracking up. I don't see myself as funny. Sometimes things come out and you all just start laughing. Then I think it through and realize..."ha...I made a funny!"

Sounds like it has been a crazy week! So many shoes! But you know now the shoes are bought and not more worrying about them?! :yay: Sucks about the insurance though! And that it falls to you to get it fixed now. Ugh! I think you totally deserve a spa day now! I know you're too busy but seriously I think you can make it work!

Wow! Trip is so close now! Its going to be here so soon! :cool1:

Hahahaha! you are one hilarious girl!!!!:rotfl2::love:

All caught up again. Man you have had quite a time at work between backed up toilets and idiots in the HR or benefits area! Hope it's all straightened out by now.

Love, love, love the DIS meet updates!! Looks like such a blast! It was so nice you were able to meet a couple of other DISers too. See, if you spend time with D~ you'll get the overflow of her fans. Bonus!

Poor Nikki, no Mickey waffles for her. I guess I'm glad I can't afford to stay at the Beach Club! At Pop I can get all the Mickey waffles I want!

Sounds like you did your share of boosting the economy with buying shoes alone! I'm glad you got some you love and are breaking them in before your trip. I really wish I could wear flip flops…

Okay, can't wait to see where you went for lunch. Don't make us wait too long. Have a wonderful Monday!

I almost bought her a waffle magnet when I was down there. But it was $12 for a single magnet! I couldn't justify it. Sorry Nikki :(

OMG! That would have been hilarious! But don't you worry, I WILL get me some Mickey Waffles!! LOL!

Yay!! Updates!!

Bahahahhahahaha! Is the American Girl store really THAT bad?!?! Olivia is not really there yet but she's definitely beginning to be exposed to AG as her friends get them.... I see great expenses in my future....

Yes... Yes it is. You can get the sales catalog.. I know because i have them. In my library under the HORROR section.. :lmao:

Meg has a couple of them. The Bitty Baby twins, and worse yet. the one that looks like her.(I think that is what she has) it's smaller then the 'normal' sized ones?!?! I don't think i'm going to get it ONLY because she really doesn't play with dolls!
Thank goodness!

You are killing me with grabbing Lego Iron mans junk! Lol.... Omg Mo! I can only begin to imagine the fun to be had with you!!!

:lmao: come on up! I am sure we would have lots of fun!!! Just checking the IRON!

Cool beans on the sewing machine displays! Wow!

It was really neat! :thumbsup2

You really have me curious with your lunch now!!! I can't wait to seeeeeee!

it's going to be FULL of pictures.. so i should get on this today.

If we ever plan a trip to Chicago, you'll have to put together our itinerary, Mo. Looks like you guys got to see so much fun stuff!

you got it!!!

I'm sorry that I have to ask this, but I have to put into perspective how creepy the girls dressed like the dolls were - were they store employees or fans/customers?

::yes::

I have no idea. I am hoping they worked there.

I'm going to take a stab it's the place that I don't care for ... Portillos.

Think more 50's prime time...

Wow - you weren't kidding about being on strike...

Nope.. and i still am..

Seriously - I am not going ot have time to finish my lunch, muchless get back up to my sewing room today, it's going to take me too long to do all of these responses... :mic:

And you are like... :scratchin Then  Then Bahahahahaha > cry > Bahahahahaha > cry some more > Bahahahaha She totally just takes you off guard. I love that girl!!! Friggin waffles... ROFL - Poor Nikki... I should mail her some waffles to make her feel better. ::yes::

Honest to goodness This Suzi character is my favorite character of the Epic Dis meet stories. the rest of are just there for her material... AS im reading YOUR response.. I am crying laughing ALL OVER AGAIN!!!

Oh yah - I will never forget Lower Wacker, or Upper Wacker, or Wacker Wacker. :worship: I am certain the Freddy does live down there somewhere.

The sewing machines made Tess and I happy!

I knew it would! It was a really cool store. Honestly i did NOT even look at the clothes there!
