Hi Mo,

I am over from D's TR. With a split stay all you have to do is give your luggage to the luggage people in the lobby and they will make sure it gets to your next resort. If I remember correctly, they hold your luggage at your new resort until you call for it. You can check in at your new resort anytime. We've done a few split stays and it went really smooth.

Love all the pictures from MSI. Also, love the Urlacher bobble head!! I miss watching him play.

I've missed so much!!! Your Disney exhibit pictures were amazing. That sounds like such an EPIC day!!! That exhibit looks so freakin' awesome! And the pictures of the Fairy Castle...exquisite! I am not a fan of pizza in general...but I want a slice of that baby! And besides, it was from Connie's Pizzaria...it HAS to be simply delicious!

The Duffy dress and Trick or Treat bags are SOOOOOO cute!!!! Wow, this trip is going to be non-stop magic for your kids!

For some reason I feel like I need a Lego castle now

For me, the FP+ are a little like the old Fastpasses - there were many times we pulled Fastpasses and didn't end up using them for a variety of reasons. So, if things change and your FP+ time or ride doesn't work for you, change it or just don't use it - no big deal.

I should go back and read and count but I think I'm just too lazy - how many park days do you have? I am so excited for this trip and surprise for your family! What day is the kiddos actual birthday? I'm thinking you live with at least 3 Virgos (not knowing when your birthday or your DH's birthday is) - how do you manage that?!? The one Virgo in my house is plenty - me!

WOW! What theater was that at? It looks amazing. I haven't seen Malificent yet. I really, really want to. But both our daughters want to go to it and I think it might be too much for Maddy (age 4.5) so I told her I would wait until it came out on dvd and that way if she got scared she could leave the room.
But now I am kind of thinking I may go to it anyway and then do that as well.
Your favorite spot.. is it by Shedd?

I just want to add... The Maleficent movie really makes you view the villians from a different perspective, and actually makes you like them. Its not a dark movie when it comes down to it, its actually quite heartwarming and endearing. . But there may be a few spots where it might scare kids, for the most part though, it's good.

after leaving Connies we made our way back home to meet Nicole. She is also here on the Dis nikki7680

we were off for a fun evening going to the MOVIES!!! It was opening night for Maleficent!!! How cool is this? A dis meet with a Walt Exhibit AND an opening night of a Disney movie!!! now you know why we call them EPIC DIS MEETS!!!

Apparently Tom Cruise was there the night before and was standing in that same spot we where here!!!

Yeah, I wasn't impressed either...


We weren't impressed either..



we made out way in.. and up the stairs. we weren't just going to to the movies and sitting in any old seats like normal people.. we were on a Dis meet !! which means.. VIP SEATING!!!!! Nothing but the best for Us!!!

when we walked up and into the bar/restaurant area we were lead to an awesome corner table couch that was roped off!!!


Now i was impressed!
the pictures aren't good.. BUT this was AWESOME! the round couch was huge and there were another two BIG comfy chairs with it! we had LOTS of room.
Here is our table with drinks, Buffalo chicken dip think and I think chicken quesadillas??

everything was OK.. my drink was H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. i should have gotten the chocolate martini like Nikki did..
Soon it was time to load into the theater.
we found our seats:

the seats are fan-tab-u-lous! HUGE reclining leather with large arm rests. if you pick up the arm rests it sits like a love couch.. Oh and i made Nicole wear her Maleficent ears!!!

drinks and munchies in hand we sat and watched the movie.. I liked it a lot!!! thought is was great with an original thought

This movie theater was awesome and then some....

How did you all like it?

It was such a fun night... Loved meeting Nikki, she was such a sweetie!

Just wanted to add that it wasn't as scary or dark as the previews made it out to be. I saw it twice, I went with the hubs the first time and then knew I had to take Olivia to see it. So I did and she loved it too. She wasn't scared at all and she really enjoyed it. Just FYI, but it will be out on DVD soon enough too!

The BBB... takes about 45-1hr for the girls, I have never done the boys but I am sure its less. Ours was closer to 45 min and we did the whole she-bang. We had an early morning appt but not the first of the morning, so it wasnt backed up, but we did wait about 5 min to go back and change.

I like your Dumbo magnet on your file cabinet, but I think I saw a Magic Mike photo over there that I may or may not like more...

The castle! OMG wow!! How freakin' amazing!!! The detail!! That is just stunning, even through photos, can't imagine the beauty in person! Wow...

Oh my gosh! Good save on the countdown!!!!! I was sweatin' it when I read that!! Eeeeeep! You, my friend, are SO lucky this is a birthday trip!!!

Your plans look great. I'm glad you got the FP+ you wanted. I can't wait to ride the new mine train. It got mixed reviews, but I think it will be really cool. I'm sad we won't get to see Mickey's Philharmagic, but I'm so glad Splash is up and running now!

I was planning on leaving POR early to check into AoA drop off my car then take the bus over to Epcot for the day.

What do you think would be better? just do it myself or be lazy and let Disney handle it all??

Behind the shedd next to the planetarium!!! I LOVE it there. Plus you get the best view of Navy Pier's fireworks!!

Hello all!!!
guess what happened again? Meg grabbed my phone saw the countdown. AGAIN i said it was for their birthday then made a dummy one for "next year trip" now my counter says: 418... I cannot have a real countdown...

Totally my own fault.

This past weekend was crazy.

Friday i called off of work. took everyone to the zoo. last minute thing. we were there from 9:30am got home about 5pm. ran changed cleaned up a bit then out the door again for a night at the Crown Point Jail. didn't get home until 3am!!!
Needless to say guess what i got...

THE DISNEY RASH!!!! had i not know what it was from here reading on the dis i might have freaked out a bit!!!

Saturday i woke up at 12:30!!! Can you believe this???

We went to lighthouse mall (an outlet mall) I was not impressed but we did get gym shoes for Meg Zack and Tom. sandals for Tom and I (yep More Flip flops!!!)
Need to find Meg nice flip flops...
everyone got some shorts or shirts.. I went to bath and body. i didn't get any clothes!!! I NEED SHORTS!

Sunday... we had the boys baseball BBQ came home and fell over.

Yesterday i worked here then went to dog training job (job #4) then again fell on my face.

today is My Mom's birthday so we will go there then come home and well? Fall on my face.

i NEED to get so many thing completed I am getting no where FAST!!!!

we are leaving in 53 days.

4 paychecks from job #1

I have not been able to sit down and think about this trip. Work is insane.
I have to get the kids birthday party together.
I have to get school supplies done.
I have to get them registered IN SCHOOL!!! they know they will be there jsut the registration was when Tom's mom passed away..

I need to LOSE THIS WEIGHT! so yes i have been on a diet. i don't have time to work out right now. but if i get a chance i do.

I will be making lists again today. I have to get in my sacred Disney box as i have been throwing things in there since last time i did an inventory.

Your day exhausted me just reading about it. I know there was fun involved but still.

I am kind of scared that there will be people running around WDW without shorts. I do not have any either. It is hard to go shopping without taking the kids and then they all find something and I am exhausted and haven't looked at anything for myself. Plus, I am trying to reduce my size before I go, so I don't want to buy anything until closer to the trip.

I forgot that I will have to do the school supplies before we go. At least I only have one now that needs certain supplies.

Believe me when I say, there were so many times when we were trying to surprise the kids in 2012 that I let things slip...and my kids STILL did not figure it out. They were genuinely surprised. Don't worry, your kids will be SHOCKED...and besides that, there is SO MANY surprises you have planned for this trip. It will be fantastic, promise.

I had no idea what you were talking about when you said Disney rash. After googling it...Wow! I have never seen anything like that before either. So sorry you got that stuff, and without the joy of Disney causing it!

You mean to tell me you bought flip flops with out D~ or Suzi there to price compare, analyze, or approve of your choice??? I sure hope you got the right flip flops at the right price! I give a hard time, but I am SOOO jealous! I someday want to get annoyed while flip flop shopping with them too!!!
