HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! All my favorite Dis people!!!!

I am OUT OF MY MIND EXCITED! we are down to 118 days!!! can you believe this?!?! the double digit dance is ALMOST HERE!!!
No dancing until it's here.. i promised myself..

i don't where to start??? Except I AM GOING TO DISNEY IN 118 DAYS!!!!!!!
WE ARE GOING!!! ok a quick little dance...
I won't tell you i am dancing in my office today... nope won't tell ya....



like anything you do lets start at the beginning!

Last week we had a Baseball Board meeting. Chris and Jen didn't make it. I believe had they been there nothing would have happened.
There is this beast on the board. Beast is a nice word for her.
I am the type of person who is nice to EVERYONE until you do something which REALLY upsets me. well. every time i would see this 'thing' she would say things under her breath to me. Since i am no longer in grade/high school i laughed it off, roll my eyes and feel sorry for her.. well as time went on it started to eat at me. But figured she is just being.... well... a beast that she is.
Until the board meeting. where she decided to open her mouth again. I was the treasurer. they would NOT give me information in regards to the treasury like returning equipment, things that did not need to be paid i was paying not knowing otherwise. then the concession stand is poorly run. i have NO IDEA where the money is.... I blew.
Then Her HUSBAND (also on the board as the equipment manager) said in so many words i am a bully and made the concession girl cry... WHAT?!?! what the hell is this about?!?! I look at the concession jerk and she is just nodding her head. am i dreaming?!?! Yes... Jen and i were in the concession stand, talking VERY SOFTLY why? BECAUSE WE WERE TALKING DISNEY! Did NOT want the kids to hear us! Yes we went into the concession stand kids aren't allowed in there!
after the meeting the concession jerk came up to me asking to talk. OK what.
She said how no one heard what we were talking about she assumed we were talking about her... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! is this how adults act?!?!
I bet you can imagine the colorful language used. The concession jerk never told the TRUTH in what really happened and allowing people to think what a big bad bully i am.. whatever. Tom pulled the plug and let Chris know the next day we both quit.
No, we are not angry with Chris and Jen as they were not there. I am a bit disappointed nothing was said to the board in our defense. Yet tom and I are not the kind of people to dwell on such nonsense.
I will continue to be friends with Chris and Jen I hope they feel the same!

Thursday i worked both jobs and was DEAD tired after i left job #2 i forgot my cell phone there.
Let me tell you Driving without a cell phone has now become extremely SCARY!!! tons of "what if". I did made it home safely.. right then and there i made up my mind i had to take a day off... i was talking to Tom and wondering when the last time i was home. (about a month and a half) lately it's more like i only slept there...

Friday:
I woke up at 9am!!! Can't remember the last time i slept that late!!! Apparently i needed it when i looked in the mirror my eyes were no longer sunken into my head and the black under my eyes were fading!
My Mom had called and said she would take a ride with me to go and retrieve my phone. Sounded good! Off we went. didn't get home until 3pm ... That wasn't in the plans.
We bought flowers had a nice lunch, it was a great day!!! Didn't have time to plant said flowers since i had to go to dog training.

Saturday
We had the morning off! Didn't have to work!!! Boys had a game. (Tom is still manager) For mother's day they hand out carnations to the Mom's it was cute! a little uncomfortable.. You know me!!! Always make a bad situation into good and ended up have a lot of laughs with the people i know. It was a good time. and Boys WON!!! Matt is becoming a great catcher!
When it was over we were able to leave! Was stopped by several other people talking about the MORONS of the board, how the wrong people quit.. it is what it is. people will always be jerks never grow up and live a sad life because of it!!!
When we got home, it was time to plant the flowers! the front of the house looks a little better with COLOR! i still need to paint the front..
Tom and Matt cleaned out my truck which was nice and filled the car with something to fix my air conditioning! It worked!!! I HAVE AIR!!!
It was such a beautiful day we decided to take a ride downtown to see Buckingham fountain, it was the first day to be turned back on. we had a nice dinner and even more enjoyable night! I can't wait to show you the pictures!!! they were selling these light up things which of course they needed them.. well i said they needed them they would make fun artistic stuff for pictures! For some reason the fountain wasn't doing the music or changing lights?!?! so we left for home! We really had a great night! LOTS OF FUN!!!

Sunday!
Kids have been bouncing off the walls so excited to give me my Mother's Days gifts. That alone was the best gift.. The kids were just crawling with excitement so i told them they could wake up Tom in a few minutes. They rocketed up the stairs and tom was ready.
Meg all but threw herself and my gift at me! it was in a pretty bag with flowers on it stuffed with color paper like tissue paper very pretty and adorable for her to think of this stuff! she bought me a white teddy bear with a stuffy balloon which said LOVE MOM holding a box of hard candies. along with a candle pink (her favorite color)
Zack the practical one was next. still in a walmart bag was a travel coffee mug and.... a candle. Orange. his favorite color!!
Matt's turn! another walmart bag inside was a silver/ black dragon holding two skulls with ruby eyes which are candle holders and............. a blue candle! each of these gifts just screams their personalities. I just love them i will cherish these gifts FOREVER!!! I will get pictures of everything i promise.
after a few cups of coffee we cleaned the house! MAJOR CLEANING. the kids went through their clothes. i decided to do the same thing - got rid of about 5 bags full of clothes.
Tom had to work, my parents wanted to go out to eat. the kids picked Texas Coral. they like to throw peanuts on the ground! we had a great time!!!
On the way home i drove through one of the worst storms. the sky was green. the weather satellite showed we were in the RED - wind, HUGE rain drops, then hail. Visibility was zero. I think i did about 15-20MPH all the way home. had i seen a viaduct or tree cover i would have stopped. We did make it home safely. Despite the weather we had a great time!! One of my favorite weekends!!!! full of FAMILY FUN!!! i don't know what i would do without any of them!!!

Grrrr... that whole bball situation makes me so angry just reading it! I seriously have no idea how grown people can be so immature. Even if she thought you were talking about her why on earth would you go "tattle" and not just talk to the person directly!?!? Good riddance, ain't no one got the time to put up with that!

Luckily, sounds like the rest of your weekend made up for it, with the sleeping in, and the wonderful mothers day!! Love it!! My kiddos were SO excited as well. Olivia INSISTED to my hubs that they wrap my gift in a leftover Disney store bag, because they know I love Mickey Mouse, lol.... it was too cute.

I bought Charlie the Wild Africa Trek for his birthday, which is today. He was like a little kid when he got up this morning, wanting to know if he could open his present as soon as he got out of bed! Luckily I had saved a brochure that I picked up in March for the Trek and put it in the card as his "present". He was thrilled!

I still need to buy the Memory Maker, but other than that I think we are set. I need to wait until after our Epic Dis Meet before I can buy the MM.

Sorry about your baseball situation. I am always amazed at how childish and ridiculous grown parents can be. It seems like having children makes some adults revert back to being a child themselves. A good friend of mine likes to stir up trouble and gossip, I just can't handle it!

I'm with everyone else on the baseball fiasco. Childish to say the very least! Usually in these types of situations I believe jealousy is at the heart of it. You are a hard worker and the kids adore you and you get things done. Hard to top that! Yes, you're THAT good!!

I absolutely love those gifts the kids gave you!! Everything near and dear to each of them. Doesn't get any better than that! I have to say that skull candle holder has to go down as the epic gift, though.

So, that Chicago weather you experienced is the reason 2 flights were cancelled going to chicago last night and the reason I'm sitting here at the airport after being here for 8 1/2 hours! Bad storms everywhere are playing havoc with traveling. (full details on my TR)

Ugh. I am really glad all the nonsense is behind me. I am not in it to make myself look good i was in it for the kids. But i was outnumbered.. No big deal it's over!

At the banquet my volleyball girls almost made me cry.. They were saying things like CUZ WE HAD THE BEST COACH and cheering while i was trying to make a speech.. I'm very lucky to have a great bunch of kids.
