Motion Sickness Meds - Does anyone have recommendations for this? I had intended all along to get the Seabands. But I saw them yesterday in the pharmacy, and they really are NOT attractive. Jillian is the main one who gets motion sickness very easily, and I am afraid she is def not going to want to wear those things. The patch is out, since it is too late to get a doc appt for the perscription, plus they are a bit pricey. Recommendations are appreciated.

As you can see, all of our more expensive purchases are made, all that is left is small stuff. With another pay day coming up this Friday, I should be able to narrow that list down even more. I am starting to feel a little less panicked now. It felt, for a while, like the list kept growing and the time to get it all done was shrinking. Time is indeed shrinking, but so is my list!

We have a friend who is a licensed beautician that cuts hair for us. This Sunday she is coming over to do haircuts on all of us. My to do list was not very big, but haricuts was a hard one to try to get marked off. It is always difficult finding a time that she is available and we don't have anything on our calendars. It will be a big relief to get this one done!

I missed the post with the Mickey shaped krispy treats! Those are super cute but not too cute to eat them. I stared at the "mystery" character for quite a while but never guessed it was Cinderella's mode of transportation. after you said it, I went back and could see it.

I see that you have a waterproof wallet on the list for Brian. We bought the plastic cases that you take to the water parks. We bought the fat ones and then the skinnier version and the skinnier version won out. He even uses it when we go out of town for other things. Of course, he takes his wallet too but he'll use the plastic case when he only wants to carry a few things. I believe that Walmart and Academy sell similar items.

Awesome FE gifts. I love them! As far as seasick meds, we took Bonine. I don't actually think anyone in our family gets seasick, but I didn't want to chance it. We took it at night before bed because a side effect is drowsiness. I'd definitely take something. Our boat was rockin' and I heard of many that were sick.

as for the sickness I also use Bonine!!! Started out using it for one of my dogs who gets car sick. If any of the kids have to sit 3rd row in the car i have to give it to them!!! IT WORKS!

If i see any kind of water proof wallet NEXT WEEK i will grab it for you..

Hi Connie! All caught up on two months of posts! Loved the pictures from your Gulf Shores trip and girls trip. I've only seen a few episodes of Duck Dynasty because Jim absolutely hates the show. I'd probably watch it but he controls the remote most of the time. And of course the Ratatouille night and all the Disney activities were perfect!

So excited for you that your trip is coming together so nicely. As for motion sickness I see that you have had several recommendations for Bonine. That's what I use also and it works wonders on every ride except Star Tours for some reason. I also take it when I fly because if there is turbulence I sometimes get nauseous.

Are you down under 30 days yet? I'm at 38 for Mom and I's trip and I know you are going about a week before us.

I ended up ordering a waterproof wallet very similar to that in size and shape. I ordered it off Amazon. We have a prime account, so shipping is free. Why go out and buy when you can have it brought to your front door?

I was so excited to get the brunch ressie. Felt like the days of stalking for ADR cancellations and then the excessive celebration when you nab the coveted reservation!

Bonine definitely won the recommendations race! Yeah, deodorizers were a MUST. Those staterooms are SMALL! Thank goodness for a verandah door if fresh air is needed too.

Hi Ariana!!! I feel like you and I have missed each other in the last month or so. As you can see, I have not been posting or commenting too much on the disboards lately. Work has been a bit hectic since the new academic year started. I feel as if every day is spent in whirl wind of activity and work. Ready for vacation!!!!

Bonine was by far the most popular recommendation, so I got some over the weekend.

Sorry I'm no help either with the photo web sites. I do use Shutterfly to edit and print photos but for some reason I'm thinking that linking is not allowed? I do love their photobooks though and use that service quite often. It's free for me as long as I order so much each year.

As for Photobucket, I did what D~ did and finally broke down and paid the $30 annual fee for the upgrade. It definitely gives you a ton of space, I'm only at 13% right now and you know how many photos I take!

So, I took the advice of D~ and Ariana...and opened yet another PB account. Now, I can post the photos I was going to post yesterday.

Saturday we went to the zoo. Brian finally got to go with us this time. This was his first time back since last October. The kids and I have gone with friends, but alas he has had schoolwork. We were all excited for this family day!

I didn't take near as many photos as I usually do, I just wanted to be in the moment.

My girls look TOO GROWN UP in this picture!




When we went to the zoo on Good Friday with BFF, it was the first time Gabe was able to stand tall enough in the meerkat tunnel. He has always had to be held up to see. I didn't get a photo of it then, because the zoo was packed that day, and other kids kept popping up into the tunnel with him. I got my shot this time, though!

Our trip is just around the corner, and Brian is finally letting me make purchases without an exasperated eye roll. I finally feel like we are almost ready!!!



Last night the kids had a Disney activity all on their own. We got Mickey mail wanting us to join the movie club. Well, it was FULL of movie stickers. My kids, all three of them, kept themselves entertained for an hour. What were they doing?



I didn't get a picture of Jillian's English binder, but it was COVERED...like three times more than the red binder in this picture. They had a blast, now they can show their Disney side at school!!!

After our cruise, we will be on a two year hiatus from Disney vacations...it will be TORTURE! So, we have REALLY got to enjoy this cruise to the fullest!

I feel like a horrible Dis'er since I have not been updating this PTR much, But, the truth is...there just isn't nearly as much planning that goes into a cruise as much as a parks vacation. Things have been quiet on the home front as Brian is in the throes of another school term. We had a movie night two weeks ago, but it was very laid back, so not much to photograph. We have started our packing. We have all our suitcases lined up in the hall, so that we can toss stuff in there in the next couple weeks. We have all of our "dinner-wear" ironed and placed in garment bags. I actually feel like we are almost ready...scary feeling. Are we forgetting something important? Should I be panicking? Who knows...
