I am on strike tonight. I have stuff I have to do, but I have no energy. Hopefully I will get the kids' laundry done and the kids' school pictures cut up.

I am not a winner. I am recovering from shooting myself in the eye. How? I'm so glad you asked.

My son got a Spiderman 3 car at his gift exchange at school today. Fine. He was thrilled. It comes with these rocket launcher things on the sides. Joshua couldn't figure out how to load the long, plastic, bullet shaped things in the launchers, so he asked me to help. I had trouble, so I picked the car up and stared down the barrel of the rocket launcher while I loaded the hard, plastic, bullet shaped projectile in it. In hindsight, probably not the smartest thing I've ever done. I managed to load and launch the damn thing all in one move. Since I was staring straight into it, I took a direct hit in my left eye with a Spidey Missle.

Ouch.

Now it hurts like hell and I've got a headache. I believe I will take a Tylenol PM and try to pretend I'm not an idiot.

I know no one likes a topper story but maybe this will takes some of the laughs away from RV

When we were in WDW, DS5 was using the glow bracelet from the night before as an airplane, so it was now a glow stick! So there I am sitting on a chair with my head down, tying my shoe trying to get eveyone ready to go to the parks, when wham in my eye with the glow stick, it scared the crap out of me, and my contact went flying. Dumb me did not bring extras so poor DH was crawling around looking for my contact. He finally found it. I guess the contact saved my eye!

Needless to say we didnt make rope drop.... :rolleyes:

I'm glad I could provide comic relief and I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one to take a hunk of plastic to the eye.

The fun never ends around here. I'm off to a meeting with the GA Dept of Labor for an audit of our business. Wheeeeee!

Morning! No winner here. I cleaned before mom came, but I haven't done anything since. She's gotta love me anyway, right? She wants to go to Krispy Kreme since she doesn't have one at home. I was thinking real food. I'd better get showered at least--having a slow start today.
