Your butt must be very small--All of the Y in Merry isn't even showing!

IAHD, I see that little 10 to go in your post at the top of this page. Whats that mean? I'm a curiously nosey little bugger and can't help but ask.

MNFM, love the Christmas decor!

There is a "thx" on there for you and Grumpy Pirate, but apparently my butt is too big to show it. Anyway, thanks from me and my big butt...:santa:

:lmao:

I owe Lara 11 drinks and I put up my 1st one :rotfl:

Hey all...***u is screwing with me so I am posting here. I'm not caught up in any way shape or form.

I just got home and put the rice on to cook. I made my dinner for tonight last night because I thought I'd have to work really late and in a different location that would take me forever to get home. Turns out I only worked a little bit late and had NO traffic on the way home. :cool1:

That must be payback from this morning. This morning I was trying to get out of my neighborhood and got stuck behind an accident. I just sat for a half an hour. There's a High School right at that intersection. I'm sure one of the kids misjudged the turn again. Other drivers were getting pissed, but I just figured there was nothing I could do about it. I saw two ambulances come and go...hope the kids are ok.

Work was BUSY today. I didn't stop running all day.

Anyway, just wanted to check in SOMEWHERE!

IAHD -- I am DUH. Forgive me.

Lara -- weirdly enough, I'm used to being stuck in traffic. Even though the roads here are normally empty, whenever something happens, you're stuck.

Is someone getting a new house? Those pieces are big and take up the whole road here. Then everyone going in the opposite direction has to drive in reverse!

A couple of times (because of the small, twisty roads), the big truck carrying the house gets stuck in a ditch. That's always a mess.

And any accident, it's the same way. Not because the car that was in the accident is taking up the whole road, but the people who came up on the accident and stop to help are taking up the whole road.

The most normal "traffic jam" is one person is traveling south, and another person is travelling north, and they decide to stop and talk to each other in the middle of the road. That's an everyday occurance.

Hey all!

I'm avoiding working....I've been so busy lately and my desk is a horrible mess. This morning I'm cleaning it off. Then I have to do a performance eval...I know, thrilling.

Morning.
DD is staying home one more day to get rid of the cold she's had since Sunday. Only staying home cause she still has that crud in her eyes and I don't feel like fighting with the school trying to explain that when she gets really bad colds her eyes get crap in them and it's not contagious. She's been like this since she was a baby, even got the crud in them after her immunizations.

#2DS is passed out on the couch fast asleep. Apparently he's been up since atleast 5am when FE came home from the FD to get ready for work. He said that the boy was wide awake and showing him all the Star Wars stuff he wants for Christmas

Hey. Tired and crabby here. I got some C-mas shopping done, but not tons. DD is being difficult. Well, maybe she's just being 3. Age 4 is better, right? Please? :worried:

Age 4 was much better than age 3 for my first. But he was (and still is) a very good kid.

This new one...ah, not so much. He's overly mature for his age, and so independant. The older he gets, the more independant he wants to be. Which turns into a bit of a pissing match over who has the authority, me or him.

Sounds familiar, Jimmy. DD has a tendancy to be 'sassy' (wonder where she gets that? ;) ) and, being an only child, is mainly around adults. She wants to be "big" and tries to act as if she is--only she isn't. We frequently butt heads and I am not always sure that I come out ahead. I am hoping these latest outbursts are coming from

A.) being around older cousins last week

and

B.) being OVERLY tired from all the activity/travel last week ::yes::

If not, Santa may be scaling back (okay, probably not, but he is REALLY tempted...) :rolleyes1
