After two Thanksgivings (one at the in-law's and one at the 'rents), I am DONE with turkey. I swear, if my FIL suggests leftovers for ANY meal tomorrow, I may have to hurt someone.

BTW--I have gained four pounds this week. I am NOT happy.

All the hullaballoo was kept to a minimum, except for DH--kinda sick of his ongoing commentary about how I don't do ANYTHING, blah, blah, blah...really? Because at BOTH houses, I was the ONLY person doing dishes...no one else even offered to help.

Welcome! I have no idea what cleancom I am at. I think I've moved into the I-dont-even-care-anymore stage! I'll clean once really well as I put up Christmas decos and then probably nothing major except floors til after Christmas. Just too hard to dust arround all that crap, I mean beautiful Christmas decor!

Hissa is general not to be found but sometimes he leaves presents in the tub. Watch out for the sticky pink stuff stuck in the carpet. Really someone at one point tried to get it out but it didn't work and now we just leave it for the dogs to lick and get a sugar high every now and then. Watch out for the kitties....they are generally easy going but they think they rule the house.

We tend to discuss our husbads and their antics and then there's the children While we sometimes have to clean we try to come up with creative ways to avoid it You must own a couple tupperware totes for that OH CRAP occasion when the doorbell rings and you haven't picked up the clutter in a month. You run around yelling "hold on" while sweeping anything and everything into those totes and jamming things under couches, beds, and into closets.

So if you think you'll like it here we're generally a relaxed group and everyones welcome. Just push the pile to the left and pull up a seat.

I'm glad to be back in my house. I can throw the kids in their rooms and tell them to play. It makes me nuts to have to watch every move they make in a non-child proofed house. Regular child proofing isn't enough either...the boy requires an extra layer of insulation.

Sadly we all have to climb Mt. Washmore from time to time. Followed closely behind by our journey to the Valley of Foldalot. (sometimes we skip that part of the trip though)

Speaking of Mt Laundry. Why is it that just when I have the hamper in the laundry room empty and everythings folded (not put away, but folded on top of the dryer!) then suddenly there appears what can only be describes as a week's worth of laundry from my DD's room? It's time for a certain 14yo to learn how to run the washer.

I have to confess: I vacuumed. But I didnn't cook dinner unless you count throwing pizza rolls in the oven. And I only vacuumed sice there were pine needles on the floor whhere we dragged the tree in....

I was a winner this weekend. I'll hang my head in shame...and sit like a lazy bum tomorrow.

I cleaned the kitchen(twice) the bathroom, and the laundry room. I made TONS of cookies~I think about 10 batches. Which is why I had to clean the kitchen twice.
I put up my christmas tree, did some laundry. And I'm actually thinking of getting dinner prepared for tomorrow. (chicken...I can cut it and bread it tonight)
