Hey! Made it to the store and got DD. She has to swim in the meet tonight (100M and 800M) but I don't have to go since DH is working the meet anyway. Instead, I get to take DS to buy shorts . That also means that I have the early shift tomorrow and have to be at the pool at 7am for warmups . I get to sleep in on Sunday, at least for a little bit.

Talked to my mom today. She lives in SD and they have had 12 inches of yucky wet snow. Everything is closed and she can't even see out of her windows because snow is forzen on them. They have already had 32" of snow up in the hills. Weird because it was 80 there on Tues and is supposed to be in the 50's there tomorrow. Glad I'm not there right now!

TK--my kids work cleats for BB and SB because their other tennies always got trashed (ballpark dirt is impossible to remove!) and because they would slip going around the bases in the regular ones. I think you can get cheap(er) ones at Wally World and payless. Also, if you already have soccer cleats, they will do in a pinch. We always donate ours to some smaller kids we know because they never actually wear them out and always bought boys' styles for DD so DS could wear them later (although now his feet are as big as hers)
Our league gives all kids, the shirt, cap and socks(we've had yellow, orange, purple, blue, maroon, teal, black, red--you name it!). Well, I should say they are included in the registration fee!

I would just do sneakers for tomorrow and then see what the other kdis are doing and/or ask the coach.

DS5's tball team is a mix and my big leaguer of course is all decked out.

How did Katie do on her field trip? Did you sacrifice your bowl?

I'll just go with sneakers. Her's are getting worn anyway, she's rough on shoes. I don't think she's gonna know what to do, but I hope she has fun.

She LOVED the field trip. She knew she was in for something outside when I wrote on her forearm with a Sharpie (I always write my cell number on her in case she gets away.) She adored the baby ducks, she touched a snake and she thought the sea lions were hilarious. I planned to sacrifice a bowl, but the aide made sure it came home with her.

I hope everyone is having a good day. I went into work today and then decided I needed to leave. I called the DR and went to see them and had my treatment early and came home. I slept for 3 hours and feel better.
So what is going on.

Ours are all decked out in the full uniform, too. DS10 ruined his socks the first day by walking around outside in them with no shoes after the game. Oh, yeah, and the fact that they thought it was a good idea to put Georgia Red clay all over the infield. Yep, they brought it in..we dont' have that red stuff here in the marshes.

Haven't been around since yesterday afternoon cause this is FE weekend right now (thurs & fri). Last night we had #1DS's game then by the time we ate dinner and did baths I was exhausted (couldn't even make my grocery list)
Today we had DD's kindergarten registration in the morning then we went out to Walmart to get a few things and took the twosome out to lunch at Andy's ( a local place somewhat like Steak & Shake, but not as many selctions & not as big). Went to the case lot sale, got a 24 container of Handi Snack pudding packs for the kids along with a couple other things.
Now I'm tired & I still gotta make dinner- spaghetti , green beans & garlic bread.

I don't know where my days have gone lately. I seem to just get the kids out the door, take a sooze, do housework and then they are home. I havent had time for the Dis it seems with everything being so hectic.

Today I ordered new slipcovers for a chair I have that the old slipcover had been ripped for a long a time. I thought they were 200 bucks so kept putting it off, so they were only 36 dollars so I ordered 2 in case one rips again.

No plans for me this evening, but my kids have busy social lives. At least someone does LOL.
