Speaking of pictures. Igot the pics of DS crazy hair uploaded. It's really hard to do something crazy with freshly cut hair so we sprayed it. Used to have an arrow in the bulleseye(a stirrer/straw with 'feathers' taped to it) but he couldn't handle the little rubberband holding it in.

Doubt he'll win any prizes but at least he did something!

That must have been hard to do. How did you keep the colors seperated. I like it. You should see my 8 YO DGD's hair. It is really pink and will last for several months. Don't know what happened to her parents brains that day.

ARGH! I am SO stinking CRABBY today!! I have just been doing the most brainless things!

First of all, I left my favorite travel mug at DD's preschool today. So (when I finally noticed-duh!) we ran back by to get it and it is gone. Someone took it. NO turning it in to Lost and Found, nothing. Took my favorite cup. DIGGETY!

Then, as I was picking up the trash from the island in the kitchen, I realized that the coffee creamer bottle sitting there was the FULL one and not the EMPTY one (it, of course, was in the fridge!) So now my brand new (and only) bottle of creamer has been sitting out for about 6 hours--pitch it or drink it anyway?

ARGH! I am so mad at myself for these stupid things...it is like my brain went on autopilot today, but the back-up batteries were dead.

I am back. I have 40 pages that I have missed. I know I missed really important things. I will try to catch up on the other side.

Hawaii was beautiful and fun. I love the place that my mom is moving to and can't wait to visit again. It was more fun than I thought possible. We snorkled, swam with dolphins, and even saw a few whales. The water was so blue. I loved it and am now questioning why the heck I live here. Maybe the police department will start hiring soon. We can only hope.

The kids are trying to kill each other. I think it's their Welcome Home present.

Why the heck did I schedule a Dr. appt for DD at 8:20 in the morning?
She's going for her Kindergarten registration checkup so we can enroll her next month.

Morning losers! Where's everyone today? I came on thinking I'd have to catch up but there's not much going on. We're not gonna let it get boring are we?

I am just drinking my coffee. Has anyone tried White Chocolate Mudside flavored creamer? It is . DH still has his boring vanilla so he's happy, but this may be my new fav.

Today is crazy hair day. Of course DS informed me at 9 last night. Fortunately I have several cans of hair color spray and made a target on his head. Had an arrow in it but he thought the little rubberband was pulling his hair too much. Told him it's good thing he's not a girl--he's not tough enough to have his hair done daily! I'll post pics when I get them uploaded

hey guys. im in a ton of pain. I can barely sit. Walking across campus to class should be a real joy. sleeping was oh so much fun too. Im so stupid. ALWAYS use sunblock, even in April when its not warm out! I could kick myself right now if I could move my damn legs.

If you are really bad you can try calling your PCP and have them prescribed silverdine - it's a cream specifically for burns and is a Godsend! Just let the pcp know that you have tried creams, aloe, etc. and are getting no relief and could they call in a script for it. It is mucho expensive and you cannot get without script but is covered by health insurance so you only have to pay a co-pay! I have some left over from a painful sunburn last year and I will NEVER throw it out just in case!

I always have my DR give me a new script for it every year just in case.

We do flu shots here, so I always buy the kids a little something when they get shots. DD14 doesn't mind shots anymore but DS is still freaked out by them. I always push him to choose the shot when he has strep throat so I have to buy a little bigger something then--those antibiotic needls are huge!

As far as shots--they now seem to combine. DD actually only had 2 for 7th grade because they combined all but the meninngitis. Now I have to take her back for a checkup and decide if I'll get her the new HPV shot. I probably need to look for a GP, for here, too as she won't want to goo to the ped. much longer. Sigh! My family is growing up.


On a sad note, today is my Friday. There's no school tomorrow so the kidlets will be home, although there is talk of DD going on a sleepover. Now DS will want a sleepoover here . I hate sleepovers.

Apparently it is Take Your Child To Work Day.

I shore had a crazy day. My boss is worried that I do not seem to being eating and have lost weight. I can spare to lose it .so he brought in donuts today for us and told everyone that he wanted someone to report back to him that I had at least one.
