Wasting away again in Loserville-(all welcome to grab an adult beverage and come in)

Tink, have you ever tried one of thoe sinus flushing things? I got one at walgreens, called Sinurinse. Its like a bottle with some solution that you squirt up your nose. Sounds gross, but it works AWESOME.

I'll have to look into that, Fraggle. I am already getting sick and tired of my sinuses acting up and it's only April so I have about 5 more months of this to deal with.

Okay the Warden and I went out to do some yard work. While we are out back looking at the tree that need to be cut down from the damage they got during the winter storms I see some are already tired. I ask Warden if he did this and he said no. We look and find out the neighbor behind us did it. We go over to talk to him. (I do not care much for him) Warden ask him if the tree cutting company he hired tied the trees. He said yes. We told him they are on our land he he says yes he knows but he wants to make is back yard bugger and wider and he needs to take over part of our land to do this. I said not going to happen.

Kate, what a fun night you must have had. You've had a birthday week! :woohoo:

I can't remember what else I read. :scratchin

I have family stuff going on today, so I'll see y'all later on. Behave, and if you don't... link it. :teeth:

Kate...looks like you had a blast!

Kellie, um, that would be illegal, wouldn't it?

Home from a rash decision I made this morning. The kids were being really good so I decided to take them to the zoo...myself! I'll have to upload some pictures later. We had a blast! The baby panda was right up on the glass...my kids were sooooooo close to it!!! My son especially liked when he got up and went over and pooped. We also got to see the orangatangs out on the ropes where they climb all over the zoo. We saw the lions actually moving around and playing with each other too....the trick is that we go early, before the zoo officially opens. By the end, it was packed and we just wanted to get out of there. It was fun! Now I need a nap.

The zoo -- how fun! I need to get my kids there, and soon, before I get too busy (and before I start spending my only day off on the jet ski).

Shay, what in the world made him think he could mess with your trees and take over part of your yard to make his bigger?

You mean he was going to take your land? Without discussion? Without payment? Where do people get the idea they can do stuff like this?

I Loved the National Zoo the few times I have been. The last time was back in 2000, after either Ling Ling or Sing Sing had died, the other was all alone. I remember reading all the letters from children all over saying how sad they were that the panda had died. How many do they have now? Pandas have always been my favorite animal.

LL, your girls are so pretty!

Kate, I'm glad you had a good time, your friends are all so nice looking!

 Hugs for all the turned ankles, sinus infections, sick children, anyone who needs one.

We had a long day today-rush, rush, rush. Two baseball games with pictures before, so we were at the "Y" for about 5 hours total...One win, one loss. They played really well. I did the snack for both teams, so I got that out of the way...One mom, said,"wow you sure set the bar high!" she was being funny/ nice..(I was a "winner mom" in the eyes of another for a brief moment. I felt funny.) I just had gatorade, a bag of cookies and a handful of bubble gum for the kids.they seemed to like it. We tried to go through the drive thru at McD's for lunch, but it is horribly slow and it was really long today, we only had 1/2 hour to get food, eat, change clothes, and head back to the Y...so I went inside and ordered. WE managed to do all that and get back in time for pictures round 2. Then I took everyone to Sonic for a shake and DID go through the drive thru..I get extra points here, because this Sonic is super, super slow with their drive thru..

Have you guys tried their new "Java Chillers" yet? OMG, they are so yummy, kinda like a latte milkshake..Yes they have real espresso in them, yes I let my DS8 have one..Like he can bounce off the walls any higher on a Latte?

I am so stuffed I can hardly move, but I want to go out to dinner. I may just go sit down and read.

Last night I looked up everyone's names on that website for unclaimed money, and guess what? DHs' showed up with a claim for less than $100..We will send it in and see what happens. Thanks for that info!

They have three and all three were out this morning. I only took pictures of this one:

A picture of my baby boy
- I love him!- Your other kids are very cute too!

Morning all!

I was soooooo tired last night. I tried to watch the Friday night Disney special on the Travel Channel and was asleep within about a minute. It airs at 9. :headache: I woke up enough to hit the record button on Tivo and gave up and went to bed.
The husband recorded it too! He has a soft spot for Disney:lovestruc

Everyone started dropping off like flies. Next thing I know, I'm there by myself. Made me think I smelled bad or something.
Kate -- wake up!! Axiously awaiting the review!

I was tired and I had to get up early for the race!- Oh yeah- I placed 1st in my age group!!:cool1:

Good heavens, Frags. Either this is a long story you're typing out, or you're having technical picture difficulties or something. Either way, the suspense is killing me!
patience people!!

DS3 just dug his halloween costume out of the closet. It's so small, and he's all squished up in it.

He apparently wants to be a giraffe today.
awwww!!! I love Kids!

Fraggle- I'm glad you had a good night- no night is without drama though!

Last week someone made me a Fruity Pebbles shot- O M G - It was so good! haha

One thing I learned- Never turn down a free drink- even if you are with someone- Just tell them thank you and walk away and go sit with him! It's not my fault they don't see my wedding ring!

Lara- You kids are really cute- I love the panda too!- What is under the flap on the cutout's belly?

Ok- I'm pooped! Time for a nap!

So I get to go to another baseball game tonight and this time I won't freeze my butt off...hopefully. And there are fireworks afterwards. WOOT!

Shay, what in the world made him think he could mess with your trees and take over part of your yard to make his bigger?

This guy is a jerk. He has been a jerk since the day he moved in . I did tell him that if one of these trees comes down then I will deal with him in court. They family next to him came over later and told us he is going to try and do it any way.I called the tree company he is using and left a message and will also post a sign in the yard.He wonders why his wife took the kids and left.:rotfl2:
This is the same guy who wanted to place a shed the side of his house and was told by the town he could not do it. When he started a fight with the town it turned out he was trying to build a huge 3 story building.

Very cute. The panda and the kiddos. The kids look like sweet little angels.

Can I pick an animal? I'll pick a dog, so I can sleep in the sun all day. Man I miss being a kid. He probably looks adorable all squished up in that costume though.

I did have a great time! Theres more celebrations tomorrow too! Behave? I don't understand what that means. :p

I'll have to look into that, Fraggle. I am already getting sick and tired of my sinuses acting up and it's only April so I have about 5 more months of this to deal with.

I feel your pain. On my last allergy test, the Dr. said my allergy count was over 1,000. Normal is around 100. It really works well, its the only thing that truly makes me feel better. Hope it works for you.

Um...excuse me? What is wrong with people?!

The pictures are great! We're all going into the Bronx Zoo once school is out...I can't wait.

Wow what a day! McD's and Sonic! Lucky boys. Glad you got everything in on time.

Fraggle- I'm glad you had a good night- no night is without drama though!

We were talking about Fruity Pepples last night! Thats so funny, i'll have to ask for that shot next time we go out.

So I get to go to another baseball game tonight and this time I won't freeze my butt off...hopefully. And there are fireworks afterwards. WOOT!

Lucky! Have fun Steph!!

Im pooped. Went to the beach this morning, then bbq'ed with the girls & John this afternoon. The funeral was today, and no ones really doing well. We're going out later to hear a good band to try and get them to feel a little bit better.

Im gonna take a nap. The puppy was sick all last night my mom said, so I have to give her a bath too. And clean my room and the inside of the house cause my family birthday party is tomorrow. Mom's cleaning up the backyard.

Seeeee ya ladies!

Awww what cute pics of the kids and the Panda. I love it.

Well I was up at dawn to get my son registered for his sophmore year next year. I was 2nd in line so it went quick. I accomplished alot this week with physicals, school signups, cheer signups etc etc. Now I get to look forward to schedule day and locker day and booksale day. All fun events. LOL

Thank goodness this school has a wine tasting event coming up to take the edge off everything else HAHAHA.

My MIL is coming up to spend the night. :scared1: She is going to my oldest daughters water polo tournament tomorrow with me and my mom. I didn't know a thing about water polo when my daughter signed up and thought I would hate it, but it is actually a little interesting. You don't hear about that many kids taking water polo. I don't think I have ever seen a post on the Dis about it.

Well I hope everyone has a nice day.

Well DS5 only made it thorugh an inning and half beofer he said his foot hurt, but then he says his foot is fine and he wants to go out an play now:headache: . Not happening. There is no swelling, no bruising, no nothing. DH wants to wait and see how it is tomorrow. He thinks he is getting better everyday. I dont know.

My mom is coming here now to watch the kids, my brother is having friends over and now with DS5's foot I think it is better if we are close and the kid is in his own bed.

Gosh I cant wait to have a drink tonight at the social. Although I have to behave bc two years ago I didnt eat, had too much wine, and fell and broke my wrist when we were leaving. So now I dont drink a whole lot at these things.

I have no clue what to wear since I found no clothes the other day shopping and it is hot as heck here today.:headache:

I'm having a very intense craving for candy apples.

But I have no apples, so I can't make them.

Ah, the joys of living 45 minutes from town.

Ok I have to tell this story. I was at Wallyworld today picking up a few things and I stopped at the end of an aisle...well more like an endcap where they have merchandise all along the wall to look at a new Nair product. I have my cart as close to the wall as I can so others can get by. There is maybe an inch between my cart and the shelves. Next thing I know this woman comes barreling by me and shoots me this nasty look and mutters something about moving over so others can pass. Well I shoot her a nasty look right back and said in the snidest most sarcastic tone I could, "well excuse me, let me move my cart over the other inch so you can get by." She had plenty of room...I think she was just trying to be rude.

You are nicer that I would have been to her.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
