Oh day camp sounds fun.
I think my kids are just sick of being near each other. I swear I expect to hear, "He's breathing!" any day now.
My youngest starts preschool on the 25th.
My middle guy is going to start Kindergarten. He will go half days for the first 2 weeks and then go to full days. He is excited to start.
My 2 oldest already started school 3 weeks ago

Though I am counting the days till vacation in Sept so I can sleep in again, I miss summer vacation already![]()
Me too. DH took DD this morning and she's riding home with a friend so DS and I are still in jammies. Isn't it awesome?Morning Losers! Living up to the name today...still in jammies, still drinking coffee, still sitting here...![]()
DD is a crankbutt today. Nothing new. Sick of it. Now I am cranky too.![]()

We bought the boys a tshirt from the store at Star Tours. The one with Mickey in the Luke Skywalker pose like the original movie posters? I washed them for the first time last night. When I cleaned off the dryer screen, the lint was all sparkly from the glitter on the new shirts. I thought of you immediately.![]()
DD & I are looking forward to school to start because we get to sleep in! This practice at 6am all summer was rough. Band camp every morning at 7:30 is better and pretty much the same time as school. Mine go back the 19th WooHoo!!

I am glad I am not the only one! I am still in my jammies, and just ate a big hunk of chocolate cake.
Any idea why your DD is cranky?
Di, she has not yet recouped from our trip last week and this whole "putting her back on schedule" thing seems to be backfiring on me. She doesn't want to sleep at night (when she finally does, she wakes up several times crying--then I am up too), she won't nap (if she does, then she REALLY won't sleep at night) and she is up at dawn--6:30 this morning after finally falling asleep after 10:00 last night. She scared me so bad this morning (about 4 am) with her screaming and crying, that I actually got hiccups from waking up so quickly! THAT really ticked me off! I wanted to go back to sleep and just kept hiccuping...![]()
She has gymnastics this afternoon, so I am planning to leave early on the hopes that she will fall asleep on the way. I will just park and let her sleep until it's time to go in. Wish me luck...![]()
Evening all,
Can't let all the other threads think they are winning.
Di, I so love your avatar that dog is so cute.
I turned in my job application today. I'll try not to be too much of a Winner.
Awww thanks! I promised myself (and my ever spreading thighs) that once the kids got back in school, I would start walking to make a difference. I can already see that not happening! She napped and was happy when she awoke, but it didn't last. Hopefully, she will sleep better tonight but I doubt it. We ran by Michaels Craft store and they had their Halloween displays up. I think the moving displays spooked her a bit, so we'll see if she has nightmares.
We go to WDW next month--WDW, then Universal/IOA and SeaWorld. Even got ressies for the luau at SeaWorld. Hope it's good! Looking forward to the trip, but it will be whirlwind. (DD will be a cheerleader for MNSSHP.) The trip we just returned from was Cincinnati. We had fun, but DD got completely worn out. (My cousin has a 4 year old boy and the two play GREAT together non-stop...)
Di, I am just glad you are back to hanging out...![]()
Water park sounds fun!!! I hope you have a great time. Hey, the job sounds perfect! I honestly need to work moreMorning all,
We have big plans for the water park today. The kids slept really good yesterday so they are rearing to go.
We are meeting some people there so it should be fun.
I am applying at a place that helps teach life skills to developmentally challenged high school kids. The hours are great and they will keep with my kids school schedule. I'm not sure if I'm ready for such a big commitment. I am a Loser at heart and it seems like my week will be all gone before it even starts.
The good part of it is that we can save for more vacations. I really want to go to Disneyland again. The faster I get working the faster we can go.
.
Yikes!Nope--we haven't done it yet. We did MVMCP this past December though. We enjoyed it, but didn't get to do a lot. My biggest mistake was buying DD a balloon first thing. She didn't want to put it down, so we couldn't go on rides, shows, etc., because that thing was HUGE! This time if she wants one, it is on the way out the door!Learned my lesson!

BTW-DD slept until almost 10 am today, save for an hour between 6-7 when we were dealing with yet another bloody nose. I have put in a call to the doctor, as this is the fifth one in three weeks. Tired of having my kid wake up looking like "Carrie!"![]()
