Washington DC DVC Property???

My SIL just got back from WDW and said that she was told by two DVC sources that DVC was going to build a resort in the Washington DC area. Is there anyone with more information on this? Just a rumor? Thanks to anyone with info.

Disney is building a hotel there, but the DVC part has not been announced yet. I am sure it will be eventually.

Yes, Disney purchased land in the National Harbor area. Haven't announced officially what they are doing with it.

If they keep to form, they will push the dirt around for at least 12 months, then either sell it to someone else, stop all work and do nothing for a while and pretend they never made an announcement, or actually start building but won't say what it is until its mostly completed.
