Hey, I just realized I have 2 $25 gift cards for Maggianos from cashing in over at My Points. I had ordered Olive Garden and got these by mistake. It must have been God's way of saying "Attend the DIS meet!"

I'm just over the MD/PA line. I missed the Allentown meet but would love to go to one if the day was right.

I'm in Charlottesville, VA but I don't have a problem travelling to N. VA or DC or even Baltimore (do prefer the metro to driving in DC though). Any time on a weekend is okay with me as long as I am not out of town.

The cheesecake factory in Richmond does not take reservations but I don't know if that is a chain wide policy or not.

Anyone going to the orioles game tomorrow? I told DH we could go to Baltimore one last time before we move (hoping to move back to NY by the end of the year) and we have decided to go to the game (Dh the Red Sox).

Seems that Sunday late lunches would be best for most everyone. The Tyson's Corner area would be good and fairly centrally located for those coming up from Virginia and down from closer to the MD/PA line. Also, not too far for those coming from the Baltimore area.

I'm open to pretty much any Sunday afternoon in November and December. Obviously we'll want to avoid holiday weekends.

How about the rest of you?

Can't do any Sundays in Dec due to x-mas party and vacation schedule.

November 13th we'll be in Hawaii, but we're free the 20th and December 4th and 11th. If a lot of people have holiday conflicts in December like GoofyForLife I'm open to holding it in January too.

Have you settled on a date? I would love to attend - getting ready to sign DS up for wrestling for the first time, so I can't say what my schedule is going to be. But if I'm available I'll be there (probably have to bring my boys).

Just a heads up, I've been to the Tyson Mall twice in the past week and I think the Rainforest Cage is permanently closed. It's all tarped over and the alligator is gone from the little pool outside. I asked another mall worker who had no idea what was going on. There is a sign outside that says something like 'Thanks for your business, but this location is closed. Visit us in Towson." Not sure if that place was still on the table or not, but just wanted to let everyone know it seems to be gone.

Yep. Verified. I was at Tyson's this week and the place is CLOSED!!

However, the new food court looks pretty nice and they've put 2 or 3 new (big) restaurants in the new wing.
