Washing Machine Repair Help?

Does anyone know how to re-secure the tub on the washer ? Ours came loose because I put an oversized quilt in it..my own fault. I can't really afford to hire a repairman right now.

If anyone has ever re-secured these themselves, please let me know. It is a GE top-load. I checked the internet but could not find a specific instruction on how to do this.

I needed to repair my washer as the snubber that sits under the tub was worn and need to be replaced. I also replaced the springs that held the tub in place.

I did need to purchase a special tool to help replace the springs

perhaps you can find you problem listed there. May just be a broken spring.
