I know baby wipes are acceptable in carry on. So would that mean that travel size clorox wipes would be acceptable too? They came with the big clorox wipes that I bought. They are sealed like a case of baby wipes. The only bad thing is that they only have 10 wipes. . . Yes, I'm a germ phobia girl!

::yes::
My DH went to Thailand last month and he had no problem carrying some of those sorts of wipes on.

I work in the industry and have seen an example where wipes were not allowed, even for a passenger traveling with an infant. There are some inconsistencies across airports and even between different agents within the same airport.

Best of luck!

I bought anti-bacterial Wet-Ones individually wrapped wipes to bring on-my friends were all worried for me that I couldn't bring my bottle of Purell on :rotfl: but I found a good substitute!!! :)

Germ Freak here! :wave: I have a huge stack of indiv. Wet Ones ready to bring...My friend made me think of this question: if hand sanitizer is no longer allowed, do you think people find an alternative, like Wet Ones, or do you think people just not bother now? :crazy: (non-germ freaks that is...)
Could this possibly lead to more germs lurking around out there???

I'm wondering the same thing. . . . I have my wipes packed and hoping I can take them! Here's to germ free flying :thumbsup2

For those of you with germ phobias. Please be respectful of your fellow passengers. A few hints.

1. Clorox has a very stong smell, it should NOT be used on the plane. (Nor should any other wipe with a stong scent)
2. It is NOT acceptable to wipe down the area belonging to your seatmates UNLESS they are with you. (I once watched a woman wipe down the tray table and armrests of the man next to her. He seemed very amazed by this)
3. It is also not acceptable to get upset if the "unwiped" man next to you touches the armrest (same woman as above, every time the man touched the armrest, she got out her wipe and cleaned the armrest. He finally just planted his hand on it and I guess she was not brave enough to wipe down his arm)

The majority of us wash our hands in the bathroom and get on with life. (And as an MD friend of mine said, the immune system is BUILT by exposure to germs not avoidance of them)

Got back last week and wondered how in the world I would survive without my purell on the plane (I'm being honest)... instead I went into the bathroom before I got on the plane & washed my hands, then once we could "move about the cabin" I went in again and washed up.... not bad :thumbsup2
