I'll watch anything WDW related but I was a little disappointed with last night's travel channel show. I actually screamed at the tv a few times.
I enjoyed the show overall (how could you not love a peek at Wishes and Illumintations) but I thought there were several things that were poor and misleading to someone "not in the know" The energy was great and I did find myself waiting for them to reveal themselves as DISers
1. Buying tickets on site at the gate!!! Are they crazy, I have seen long lines to do this and you pay more than prebuying through Disney. I can understand they didn't advertise using a ticket broker but come on, at least than have them purchase at the resort.
2. I find it hard to believe you could go to a 9 or 9:30 am spa appointment and than go to Epcot at let's say 11am. The got a FP for mission space (when I was there in feb at 11:30 there were none left for the day), rode test track and it was time to use their fast pass. I think it is very misleading how FP works, there is no way that could happen to the average person.
3. The tip about starting in adventure land is true except now that isn't an option often since it opens at 10am.
As I said, I did enjoy the special but felt some of it lacked factuality. Anyone else?
